The Timble Inn is not your run of the mill pub with food - it is mainly a restaurant with accommodation & a small seating/ bar area. We booked in for a birthday treat & they made us very welcome with a few extras along the way - even a Timble card! The inn looks lovely outside but inside is...

The staff made our visit and I will continue to visit it is lovely (especially Nathan). However the food though good was just missing something, my starter lacked seasoning and was a little cold. I then had lamb they asked how I would like it cooked, I requested rare, however it came medium to well done, and the jus was...

We stayed 1 night. The bedroom was fine. However, the reception we received on arrival was disappointing to the extent that we were told that the only places to sit were in our bedroom or bar. (There was only one chair in the bedroom). Since returning home we have read that there is a residents lounge. The evening meal was...

We'd never been to Timble before our visit last week and it really was a flying visit, just one night. We arrived mid afternoon so we'd missed lunch but the young man on duty kindly sorted out some cheese and biscuits for us to keep us going and brought them through to the residents lounge which is in a separate...

Thank you Howard L for your review, and yes you are very right to say we are a remote location, but this we feel only adds to a calm relaxing break away. A short drive away and Harrogate awaits, or alternatively visit the beautiful reservoirs for a brisk walk. I look forward to your return visit and please do not...

Attended a wedding party here this weekend- sublime food, lovely drinks and service was faultlessly attentive and friendly. What a treat nestled in the Yorkshire Dales with stunning views. Only a short drive from Otley and Blubberhouses, we even managed to get an uber at 2am!

Thank you Pixie F for your review, and I must concur that it was indeed a most enjoyable event. The planning and thought put in by your hosts Guido and Emily I think hit all the right notes. We even managed a snowy back drop for the wedding pictures. With any luck we will see some of you returning to...

This was our second Christmas here, the last one being two years ago. Since, then, it has changed hands and we were a little worried that it wouldn't be as good as we remembered, but we needn't have worried. Everything was just as it had been and some things were even better. The food was the same very high standard,...

Thank you Pam P for your review, and I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed yourselves on your return visit and that the change of ownership has not altered your opinion. Although we will of course look to build on what we achieved last Christmas I am happy to see you have highlighted some of the areas that...

A wonderful two day break surprise for our golden wedding anniversary was everything we could have hoped for. The lovely welcome from reception staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. The cosy room, with all comforts plus another surprise of top Prosecco started our first evening. Dinner in the beautiful Christmas-decorated restaurant was faultless and the food sublime! Running...

Lovely quiet country setting a short drive from Harrogate. Made very welcome by the somewhat scary East -European greeter who turned out to be our bar-person and waitress. Good local beers and a huge range of gins. Lovely if somewhat restricted menu. My wife specified fresh tomato with her steak and was made to feel awkward when it came with...

Thank you for your review ReetGrandLad, I can assure you that waitress you describe is perfectly lovely and that her accent is no more scary than a broad Yorkshire man or Glaswegian in full flow, but I can understand your confusion. And I am sorry you did not feel you received value for money in regards to the dishes presented...

Me and my partner decided to visit Timble from Manchester this weekend. First of all what a lovely village Timble is, perfect for walking and a stones throw away from the lovely towns of Otley, Ilkley and Harrogate for those who fancy a bit of shopping and a coffee. We were welcomed by Andy, the restaurant manager who was very...

Called in at lunchtime on a Saturday. Used to know this place many years ago as a regular, old fashioned pub and were just looking for a quick pint and sandwich. Thank you Sevvyboy for your review, and thank you for noticing that be it a Inn or gastro pub we all fall under the title of hospitality. We aim to serve all who come to our doors and it would be a rare occasion that we would be unable to provide something that is fit to purpose. I look forward...
