The room had been updated fairly well. We had a coffee pot, fridge and micro. These three things are essential for us. Beds were very comfortable. Sam took good care of us. Sam gave us our own parking spot which we needed with our attached UTV trailer.

Clean motel with modest beds and accommodations. Indoor jacuzzi but no pool. Kids under 18 are not allowed in the jacuzzi. Understandable for liability reasons, but a major buzzkill for the kids who were looking forward to a soak. Owner/manager was very nice and the check-in procedures were simple and only took a few seconds. A plus considering we were...

Read lots of reviews and took the good with the bad. I was very pleasantly surprised at how great this little gem is. Sam is amazing and ready to take care of you. The room (#2) we stayed in was a little small, but for 2 it is fine. The little kitchenette is a nice luxury although we didn't use...

Just booked another stay at Columbine Inn!!! As mentioned last January, my wife and I stumbled upon this gem of a place in Idaho Springs a few years back when it was snowing too hard to continue on our trek to Winter Park. We wound up skiing at Loveland and continue to do so. This inn is owned by Sam...

Quaint rooms that were very clean and well supplied. The inn is very close to the bar and eating section of town. The noise level wasn't too bad considering it was close to the interstate and main road. I would stay there again.

Great price Good people & room, close to everything we needed. After several days on Mt. Evans the bed was heaven and the Price! We were not looking for a resort just a place to reload. Booked over the phone months ahead, no problems.

Second time staying here. Room was large and clean. Included a kitchenette with refrigerator and stove all at a reasonable rate. Conveniently located near downtown and the Argo Mill Museum. Off street parking and king size bed were nice pluses. Would stay here again !

I was so pleasantly surprised by this little gem. It is a small place, but in the midst of Aspen trees and arranged in one-level suites. I had a room with kitchenette, and it was cozy and pretty. The decor was artsy, quirky, rustic, an awesome mix that made one feel at home! The bed and real comforter in non-white/plain...

Spend the day in Black Hawk gambling and needed a room at reasonable price. This was the place. Well worth the short drive. Comfortable beds and very clean. It is close to highway and the price was right

I reviewed Trip Advisor before deciding to stay here. Based on the previous reviews, I was not disappointed! The hotel is charming inside even though there is a lot of shrubberies outside. The room I had was ooozing with charm, from the cute artwork on the walls to the well appointed kitchen, to the colorful towels, this motel was worth...
