For a small town, this is good. Probably the best in town. The hotel is aging quite fast, but Room is functional. Spacious and airy. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is good. Bathroom is ok, start to fall apart. Need some maintenance to make sure everything is functional.

This three star hotel is one of better hotels in small coastal town of Mukah. The hotel is located right in the centre of the town, with easy access to shops and eateries. The hotel is busy and a popular choice for travellers lodging in Mukah. It is however showing its age, as room facilities are old and worn. We stayed one night in a big twin room, with basic amenities such as coffee and tea, two bottles of drinking water, and toiletries. Anything extra will incur additional charges. Room condition and cleanliness required improvement however. Breakfast was included in the room rates, with limited buffet choice provided in the morning. Although this is not the best hotel I have stayed, I am not sure what other choice do you have in this small town. Their sister hotel, Kingwood Resort is located quite far from the town centre and come with swimming pool. I will probably stay in this hotel again given this is one of better hotels in Mukah town centre. However, I hope they could refurbish their rooms soon and improve the facilities provided.

Since lots of people staying here please provide a fridge & the cleanness of bathroom is the worse ever. I hope the management can take a look on the this matter & provide basic item especially fridge since shop closed at 6-7pm. The good part its center of the city. Other than that, don't just know to gain profit but services & cleanness is at worse in bathroom.

Worth for its price. The check in was smooth and friendly front desk's worker. Room spacious with good bedding and completed with basic amenities. Strategic location for mart and food. However parking space need to be upgraded especially the valley's area. Not sufficient light provided. The rest is good as its name.

Disclaimer - I have stayed at older and cheaper hotels than this; but Kingwood Hotel Mukah takes the top spot for a nightmarish experience. We checked in for an overnight stay on 19 Apr 2019. We had two rooms - Room 101 (Premier Single) and Room 131 (Premier Twin). 1) Check-in was an indication of how bad things were gonna be. 2/10 professional service; zero greeting/welcoming smile. No apologies were extended when questioned about the professionalism in closing the check-in. 2) State of the room - filthy, run-down - with questionable housekeeping. Indications of grime everywhere (refer photos) 3) Facilities - You will need to call housekeeping for hangers (flimsy, wire type that will not hold towels), iron & ironing board (no issue here, except the fact that the both items were dirty and hazardous). Oh, and no mini fridge (a blessing perhaps, one can only imagine the state it would be in) 4) Missing housekeeping - in a literal sense of the word. Not only was the room (131 in particular) dirty, but the phone wasn't answered - when asked, reception suggested that the person might be away delivering things. 5) Elevator took a long time (4 floors and I stayed at Floor 1) and the doors wouldn't close unless you kept a distance away from the sensor (this is amusing but not when one is rushing for the loo). 6) Breakfast - if you would like to experience watery porridge (80:20 rice ratio), this would be the place for it. I'm not sure where to begin with this - my advice is, to enjoy a heartache-less breakfast outside instead. 7) Called night shift reception to request for late check-out (for logistical purposes - NOT for the pleasure of extending the stay) but was advised to call the morning shift instead because "they will know better. There might be other people who would like to check in". I'm sure there's a hotel database on the check-ins and outs. This is the point when I decided to give up - and just roll till check-out. I checked out earlier than I normally would. Happy that I could leave the premise and vowing never to return.

This is not my first time here but during my stay here this month, i was compelled to review this hotel especially on its maintenance activities. The room i stayed in 310 has many issues in terms of hygiene and safety. The broken glass window being hold with only a cello-tape. Sub-standards clothing hangers, cockroach infested (kitchen might be infested), passenger lifts license expired, towel racks broken, water bidet leaking, and last but not least, breakfast food tray empty that never saw refilling by kitchen crews.

On the 1st of September 2018 we checked in into the hotel for one night and we decided to go for superior room. We have booked one room and one parking lot which we have booking about three weeks before. Upon arrival at the hotel we were informed that the parking lot is fully parked and yet we dissapointed with the services. We enter into the room and guess what? The room is well maintained but the thing is that the floor of the room seems to be wet I think that it is because of the lackage from the ceiling of the room. Secondly, the floor the room is not really maintained and seems to like the floor torn. It's very uncomfortable. Plus with the not fully cold aircond. For the bathrooms all is good with full amenities. For my personal ratings, I give this type of visiting to this hotel 7.5/10. Hopefully the management of the hotel to well-maintained every rooms.

Water disruption occured since the wee hour on that particular day. We received to advance notice nor clean water aid (bottled drinks) from the management. My friends and I had to go to the wet market to use the toilet. Back at the hotel at 10am,still the water was so slow and dirty. There’s not even a single apologize from the hotel regarding the condition.
