If you want to rest, go to Rifugium! You have to climb up a hill for 20 minutes from the city centre of Greve in Chianti (maybe it's better to call it a mountain) via small, winding but safe roads. That's the advantage and the disadvantage at the same time. The place on top of the mountain is brilliant. The...

Even a bad place must have it’s good points. The room was clean when we arrived and the pool was lovely. We booked a room for 3 nights with air conditioning and Wifi but left after 2 as the air conditioning did not work and we were attacked by mosquitoes. We were still charged for 3 nights which was poor....

Stunning region, burst into tears of joy at the surroundings as we twisted and turned the narrow roads to begin our 3 night Tuscan adventure. Room/furnishings quirky and we loved it. The views and location outstanding with Greve in Chianti not far away. Danielle greeted us with fresh tomatoes and basil and heaps of tips and ideas on wineries and...

Rifugium is a good choice when planning a trip to Chianti, thanks to location near Greve in Chianti -geometric centre of Chianti. Do not get nervous when all navigation devices fail to find the way, access is really an adventure, after a few days however one gains routine. After rather complicated access you get immediate reward - you find yourself...

The Rifugium is a very pretty hideaway right in the middle of the beautiful Chianti area. Its situation is high up the mountain and the view over the surrounding landscape is plain gorgeous. We resided in the "Fortino" Cottage, slightly off the main property. Coming from a big town we esteem calm and quiet a luxury. The Rifugium amply supplied...

I LOVED this place!! The drive to it was insane. Very narrow, twisty roads. Don't be a sissy, just drive there. LOL. The views take your breath away. The property is too cool. Lots of different areas to explore (many patios, pool area, hot tub, animals, gardens, etc). The rooms are to die for. Pristine!!!!! Our room was so beautiful...

In the center of Chianti, away from noise and in the middle of the Olive, wine trees, green mountains all around and an smell of real nature. This is the place to escape of reality to plung in a real break! People who treat you as family and give all secrets to enjoy the smell and good taste of Toscana.

The view from the house is absolutely incredible. The garden and the swimming pool are beautiful. It is easy to walk from the property to Monte San Michele. We were given the choice between a flat in the main building and a bungalow above the property. We went for the bungalow and did not regreet it. It is not as...

we spent there 5 nights, the place is very quite and isolated and daniel is a great guy. but the ride is 15-20 minutes drive in very narrow roads full of sharp turns. it's not an easy ride and not one you would like to do more then the minimum twice a day. if looking for a nice base-camp visiting...
