My family and I stayed at Muddy Creek for a family reunion in Kremmling and we had a fantastic time! The cabins are clean, beautiful, and more than comfortable for the 3 of us. Our cabin had a bedroom, sofa bed, spacious bathroom, and kitchenette. We were able to grill and prepare simple meals and enjoy spending time on the porch at night watching the stars. The owners and staff of Muddy Creek were friendly and accommodating, and took care of everything we needed during our stay. The location of the site is central to town and a short drive from many fun activities and Colorado adventures, while being close enough to walk up the road for food or a coffee. I would highly recommend a stay at Muddy Creek, and my family and I will be back!

A group of us came up for two nights for a rafting trip. We had a group of men singles and a group of men singles, and then several family groups - and some campers!

First, the location is PERFECT! So easy to find. Just turn on 3rd and keep going until you run into them.

The cabins are really cute! We had cabin 5. As you walk in the door, there is a sofa on the right hand side of the room. On the left there was a gas fireplace (we didn't try it), a small tv on the wall right next to this with satellite tv that worked really well. There was a 4 person kitchen table, then a small kitchenette with a small fridge, a small microwave, and a sink with all the dishes we needed. They even had some beautiful pink wineglasses! The forks are .a little small - like small salad forks, but the plates and cups and sturdy and colorful.

The bathroom is off to the right of our cabin. It is fairly large with a bath/shower combo that has a slanted side so you can take a very comfortable bath! They had towels and washrags in a really cute tub above the toilet . They also had soap, shower gel, and shampoo available for us.

The bedroom was at the end of the unit. The bed was very comfortable! The bedroom was hot the first night and a fan showed up on our porch before the 2nd night! That made the bedroom very nice to sleep in!

Be careful with the doors with the bedroom and the bathroom. Only one can be open at a time! They keep banging into each other.

We were thrilled to find that the couch in the living room pulls out into a sofa bed (that first night it was too hot to sleep in the bedroom!) . For a sofa bed, it was fine.

Each cabin has a porch with two chairs and a grill, a fire pit, and a picnic table. We hung out in small groups in front of the cabins all the time!

They also have a community gazebo (a large shelter with a roof and picnic tables). There were at least 9 tables there so plenty of room for a potluck! We spent most of our evening there!

Be sure to bring bug spray! The bugs were thick when the wind wasn't blowing. We had many different kinds in our group and none of them seemed to work perfectly. However, even after getting eaten alive, I wasn't itchy the next day so not a typical mosquito.

On our last day as we were checking out, the owner stopped by to say hello. She was friendly and personable. I commented on the fan 'magically' appearing and she said that someone had mentioned the heat so she made sure each cabin had a fan. WHAT SERVICE!

This is the second year our big group has been there - the first year for me personally. I hope we choose this place again. It is SO PRIVATE for a large group, and QUIET! The only people we heard were in our group. Some of those camping space are loud all night long!

PS - The wifi was great in our cabin as well. I was able to easily stream a movie from the cabin bedroom.

PSS - Each cabin has convenient parking right beside it. But they have some incline on the driveway. Be SURE to notice before you try to back up. User error, I know, but maybe you can learn from our mistake! lol!

Off the main road, very clean property, updated log cabins, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom, kitchenette (microwave, sink, small fridge), 4-10 have separate queen room, plus fold out couch if needed, 1-3 are smaller.
Dog friendly, each has its own porch, picnic table, gas grill and fire pit. Will definitely come back, great alternative to camping for a weekend exploration of the area. Never met the proprietors, but they made it easy to book and called to confirm and ask questions. Very reasonable for the $, best space in the area.

We needed an overnight on our way from Leadville to estes Park and tried these cabins based on TA reviews. We were not disappointed. The cabins are modern rustic log cabins located on outskirts of town, on a large piece of property. We stayed in cabin 1 with one queen and two twins. It had minimal kitchen facilities/space but it was sufficient for two and a short stay. The electric heat worked well and the cabin was extremely quiet. The beds were soft the bedding was great. We'll definitely stay here again.
