Oops, I got caught enjoying the Guest's hot-tub :) It is there for all of you, though, and just so you know I keep it squeaky clean, and it's the best spot in Lake City for the sunrise or for stargazing!
Thanks for your memories...More
This is a well-restored and preserved 1940's small vacation motel. While the rooms are updated (more electric outlets, new windows) it retains the feel of the 1940's , even the marvelous neon sign! This includes the small bathroom of the era, although the rooms may...More

Hello! One of our historic cottages is wheelchair accessible. It has a ramp up onto the porch, with a 35" entry door and 35" bathroom door. There are handles on the toilet, and the shower you can roll right into, and we also have a shower chair. It is available July 29 - Aug. 7 and Aug. 21 - 28 and Sept. 9 - 13. This cottage is perched up on the bluff with excellent views of the historic district and the mountains. The porch is the best place on the property for morning coffee! For rates and more information, you may call us at 970-944-2210. Thank you for contacting The Matterhorn Motel !
