This park is beautiful. Easy hikING trails. Ton of shore fishing but better fishing by boat. The park rangers are very kind and informative. Beautiful crisp clean water!The lake is huge and there are Sandy parts of the shore to wade in the shallow shoreline.

Spectacular place to rv camp or tent camp. Organized in a way that if you are tent camping, you won't be horribly impacted by the sound of rv generators running and if you are rv camping you won't be so close to other rv campsites...More

The water is really cold and there's no beach area. It's a boating/fishing destination.

I just pulled this from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife info on Eleven Mile: Swimming is specifically prohibited. (Updated: 7/16/2015 5:05 PM)
