This is the second year in a row that a group of 20 stayed at this location. Plenty of room for all of us and a great big kitchen with everything needed to prepare our meals. There are plenty of Nordic skiing and snow shoeing trails nearby and the snow conditions at 10,000 feet are great!

I have been here twice, once with a car, once with a backpack. The hostel is clean, you have everything you could need here. There is a full kitchen at your disposal, but unless you are traveling with your Mom, please clean up after yourself. Hug refrigerators if you want to stay for a couple of days and shop once...

I've been here twice. First time, solo, stayed in a dorm. Second time, with a companion, in a private room. Both times, the accomodations were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, etc. you need, and it looked like everyone was doing their best to keep it clean. Host is very courteous. Price was reasonable. Would...

I've stayed at quite a few hostels, in the US, Canada, England, and Ireland, and this is the best overall one I've ever stayed at. Great & convenient location, and how I've never noticed it, I don't know. Normally, when I fly into DIA, I stay in Idaho Springs, but I think that now I'll press on to Leadville. Comfy...

I went to Leadville to get away for the weekend and go fishing. The Hostel was the perfect place to do this. The hostel owner was great and everyone kept to themselves. The only downside is that my room was under the stairs and since the house is older, the stairs would make tons of noise whenever someone went down.

I was apprehensive about staying at a hostel. This place is special. Centrally located. Friendly guests from all over. Comfortable accommodations. The men's shower room was rather busy, but it was a busy beautiful summer weekend. The host is gracious, but over worked and needs more help. Her and late husband created this place. She deserves a break. Maybe there...

We traveled to Leadville with 18 12 year olds and each had an adult with 3 leaders. Great location for small groups to 40+. Breakfast and dinners were fantastic and the staff was very helpful. Sleeping rooms for 2 up to 6 in bunk beds. Very comfortable accommodations.

Great environment. Very roomy, both in the public areas and the bunk rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. It was quiet and everyone seemed to be following the rules listed around the house. It was within walking distance of the main street so restaurants and shops were accessible. I would stay here again.

Happened upon this funky hostel by accident and we were welcomed with open arms and a choice of accommodation. Couples room downstairs was adequate with a shared bathroom just down the hall or else a large room upstairs with it own bathroom. As the price is low we chose the more luxurious accommodation in the large room. Shared kitchen use...

Lovely place to stay! My girlfriend and I stayed here in early to mid may. We called Leadville Hostile to let them know we were running late and wouldn't get in till 10:30. Cathy said it was no issue and she would stay up till we got in. When we got there we asked to get access to the Wi-Fi...
