My family and I booked a room for new years eve. We were not allowed to use the pool, because we didn't have a reservation. When we tried to make a reservation for the pool we where told that they didn't have any available. The pool was not even full, there was only two toddles in the kiddy pool and we where not allowed to enjoy the pool. Their reasoning was that only one family per reservation where allowed in the pool. This didn't make sense since the pool is large and there capacity has got to be more then two toddles at the same time. I don't recommend this hotel. Their manager Maria Mendez is the one who kicked my and my son out of the pool. Not very friendly customer service.
I booked this hotel with hotels.com. When we got there we discovered that our room wasn’t big enough but we told they couldn’t do anything about it because we booked with a third party. Later we were told they could move us but those rooms were taken. The worker also suggested that he could cancel our booking and we could go somewhere else. What?! I’ve never been in a hotel where they recommend you go elsewhere. I should note though, that this young man was pretty new to the job. While in our room, we noticed it was very cold. The heater in the room didn’t work and the plug-in looked like it had caught fire at one point. We pointed this out to the manager and he did move us to another room like the one we were previous In. In regards to the size of the room, we were told later that we could ask the manager for a different room the next morning. The manager didn’t help any. On another note, the breakfast was mediocre. There was no water for hot chocolate and the hot chocolate packets ran out. We went to the pool and the slide water wasn’t on, so kids were going down it try. We got that turned on. There were no towels for any of us. We asked for some and were told they’d get us some, but they forgot. Needless to say, I wouldn’t stay here again. We were here for a funeral and felt less than cared for. Attention to details speak volumes. …
Great breakfast, great bed, great housekeeping and front desk staff, great pool, even great hair dryer. Close to restaurants and shopping. One of the best Holiday Inn Express locations I have visited. My stay went smoothly and without a hitch.
The room was warm, clean and nice. The bed was nice and comfort. Check-in went well. Morning breakfast was good and a lot of different food. The breakfast area was clean with an employee making sure food was ready for the guests. Thank you
We spent 3 nights here as a family. The beds were super comfortable and we all had great sleep. The room and bathroom was clean and spacious. The kids had fun in the pool and water slide. The stairway up to the water slide looked like they need some attention, though. A big thumbs up for the maintenance guy--I had a flat tire in the morning and he had an air compressor and gladly filled up my tire so I could make it to the Discount Tire that was less than a mile away. The breakfast area was kept clean and the front desk staff was also very helpful. This is a great location with a Sprouts across the street, a Starbucks nearby, and also the Wild Game across the street where the kids had fun bowling and playing arcade games. We would definitely stay here again!
