Campground is without a doubt the closest campground to Mesa Verde National Park. It is essentially across the road from the Park. Seems to be under new ownership. These folks are working hard to make their campground a success. We made reservation a few days prior to our stay. After discussing our needs, the owner exclaimed she had the perfect...

We stayed here in a 25' travel trailer and our site was level gravel, spacious with a nice tree next to it with a fire pit and picnic bench. Neighbors weren't too close and the views of surrounding area were stunning with Mesa Verde national park just across the road. The office staff were very friendly and helpful and the...

We enjoyed our three night stay at this campground. It is very conveniently located just across the overpass access to Mesa Verde National Park. We had read the reviews about the new owners and their work to improve the campground is evident. They have cleaned up the site a lot since taking over. They cleared out the lounge area and...

As several have mentioned before, this park is under new ownership. The new owners are working hard to turn an old park into a great updated facility. The spaces are generously sized and well spaced. Lots of room to get your rig parked just right to enjoy some great views of Mesa Verde, just across the highway. This place has...

We rented a cabin for one night in August and enjoyed our stay there. Our 12 & 13 year old kids loved the pool - it's pretty small, but warm (heated!) and clean, and it has a brand new liner, and a great view of Mesa Verde. There is a covered area near the pool to stay out of the...

We were visiting Mesa Verde for the first time and were looking for a reasonably priced campground that could accommodate our 40 foot motor home with a pull through site. Prior to heading towards Mesa Verde from Monument Valley, I began to research campgrounds on the internet. We were looking for a park close to the Mesa Verde park entrance....

We stayed for 3 nights and had some friends join us for 2 nights. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen and so were the grounds. They had a hot tub which we were exited about and it was hot. There is a great rec room with a TV tables chairs...

We pulled in here hoping to find some nice level sites. Traveled with another family both with 30ft RV's. The new owners were very friendly. The website for this place doesn't do it justice. The pool and mini golf are nice touches. Kids enjoyed them before the Thunderstorms hit. They also have a tv and game room. Showers for the...

The cabin was comfy, quiet, clean. It was close to Mesa Verde Nat. Park entrance-basically across the road. The city of Cortez is just a few minutes away, with nice restaurants and stores. The owners real very nice and friendly, and made improvements to the property already. Definitely a place I will stay again.
