Overall satisfied for a budget vacation. Pet Friendly. No real issues. Get what you pay for. Comfortable, Clean rooms, friendly staff, most of the things you need. Extended family (kids, parents, grandparents) stayed in 3 different cabins for 1 week. Each cabin had different kitchen utensils/pans so made cooking difficult. Some kitchens not very modern. Pool not heated while there....

While spending the night in this motel, my husband awoke at 2:00 a.m. itching uncontrollably all over his body, so much so that he could no longer sleep. We turned on the light to discover that he had bug bites all over his body. We then looked on the bed where he had been laying and found a small bed...

"NO SIGNS OF BED BUGS IN CABIN 11" reported by GLOBAL PEST CONTROL 6/17/14. If the guests had bed bugs, they brought them in. This was their 2nd night of lodging. Possibly enough time for the bugs to come out of their luggage. We have not had any complaints before or after these guests departed. We have an annual contract...

Smaller but clean and staff was very pleasant. Not many ammenities given here, but nice view. Absolutely LOVED the kids play area however. Gave us a great day to just swim and let the kids play basketball or ride bikes. Perfect for a family get away.

These rustic cabins are small but cozy. The room was very clean, and I enjoyed the Indian/kokopelli motif. The staff was very gracious to us. We were able to stay within our budget of $50-70 due to seasonal discounts. There was no hairdryer or coffee pot, but they did have a fridge and microwave. They didn't charge us extra for...

We were at the Lodge on Feb 7-9 , the Lodge was exactly as expected, we had cabin #27 . The staff went above and beyond in service. We had a very late check in and they waited up for us. The only minor point, no shampoo, but not an issue since we had brought some. The fireplace was great...

We stayed at The El Colorado Lodge this past weekend and enjoyed it as usual. my mother from North Dakota and my family stayed in cabin 25 and could not have been more pleased. We had requested extra blankets and pillows and all was waiting for us already in the cabin. It was a extremely cold outside but stayed toasty...

El Colorado Lodge in Manitou Springs, Colorado has small southwestern-themed cabins. We liked having the privacy--no noise, no footsteps in the hall, etc.--of being in a cabin and being able to pull up right next to our door. Our cabin had a bit of an odd layout, entering into the largest bedroom, then through a very small hallway kitchenette, and...

Quaint and charming cabins. Very comfortable for two nights before a two day hike up to Pikes Peak. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, looking after our baggage while we were on the hike.

Hands down the best part of this lodge is the friendliness of the staff. The number of staff is quite small, but each member is extremely nice and friendly. They bent backwards for us when we needed, and it made our stay much more enjoyable. The cabin that we stayed in was quite nice, but some of the smaller, cheaper...

Been to Manitou Springs before, we like to stay there on the weekends of the Buses on the Brewery (VW Bus rally at Bristol Brewery in Colorado Springs), and we do a weekend road trip around the state. We've driven by El Colorado before and finally got a cabin (in the summer it tends to fill up completely). This is...
