This time I went to VVHS in the Winter time, stayed in the oak house room 1 and 3. Winter is a good time to go, all the pools are open and about 90 to 95* with the Apple ponds 102 to 105* and the sauna was very nice. All the cabins now have in the floor heat, hopefully the...

Wow, what a great place. It's distant, rural, and beautiful all the way around. *Reserve right away. You don't want to get stuck in the bunk bed bay area if you're a light sleeper. During warm weather, it would be better to be in the tent area. *You can cook there, but don't expect a lot of space. *Plenty of...

Wow, as a first timer in a clothing optional hot spring, I have it say it's the ONLY way to go. The grounds are beautiful. The hot springs (we did 4) are fabulous. The people, were so relaxed and friendly. I did not once, feel uncomfortable, and truly enjoy this visit and will definitely be back again. Trust me, this...

My family and I stayed there for three days in the Elm cabin. I like to rate and describe each area: 1. The drive - it is a beautiful but long drive, 3 hours or so from Colorado Springs or Denver. 2. The staff- great, very nice and professional. 3. The grounds - very rustic, really rustic. I wish it...

We have been many times to Valley View. We have tent camped, RV camped, stayed in one of the rustic cabins and stayed in the Sunset Rooms. The Sunset Rooms are our favorite. Motel like rooms, sharing a half bath and kitchen. This is an Naturist reserve, so expect nudity. Most people will wear some form of covering to the...

Most people do not wear clothes. For the up-tight, you get over it very quickly...it is natural. The springs kinda have a fish-tank smell, but nothing revolting. Several pools/springs to pick from, and they limit overall guests count so that you don't feel crowded throughout the property. Cabins/rooms do not have AC, nor do cabin doors lock (put stuff in...

Shabby sheik is probably the best description of the operation. Cabins were well outfitted and comfortable in a lived in sort of way. Some of the bedding was a bit musty, might want to bring your own pillow. It certainly all about the hot springs though which appear to have a low mineral content and two of the springs are...

I enjoyed a brief visit to soak at Valley View Hot Springs and returned again the next week to spend a night. I love this sustainable, civilized and well-appointed "eco-resort": my "Sunset" room was very comfortable, including a big shared, well-equipped kitchen; all the hot spring mineral pools I used were wonderful, surrounded by woods, with snow-capped mountains in the...

I stopped here on my way thru the area. And I am glad I did. They have multiple hot springs, and small pools that you can soak in for hours. They also have camping sites, and lots of hiking - and some AMAZING views. Unfortunately my day visit was limited due to chilly weather, but we will certainly return. I...

It has been three years since I last visited this unique spot and there have been some changes as might be expected but most are for the overall betterment of the place. I have noted some extremely negative reviews about OLT on this and other sites and have to wonder as to whether or not these are individuals for whom...
