Casa La Pisa is in a tiny village, at the top of a valley 600m up in the Picos De Europa. I've seen it described as a B&B on another website, but it's closer to a boutique hotel really, with a small bar and restaurant. Accommodation is clean and well-maintained, and the location is quiet and peaceful - the road...

La Pisa was absolutely wonderful!! The hosts John and Gwen were fantastic; totally welcoming, warm, friendly and could not have been more accommodating for our large group. Gwen pours the best gin and tonic I have ever had (I have had a few) and John's cooking was sublime. I was not expecting such a gourmet experience, and I would actually...

We only booked for two nights and ended up staying for ten. That alone says it all. Beautiful small Hotel situated in a very quiet village surrounded by nature. John and Gwynneth are perfect hosts, they really can't do enough for you. The rooms are spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The food skilfully prepared by John is more than excellent,...

Excellent hosts! The room was perfect, super clean! They clean it every day! Amazing environment! Totally surrounded by nature. It is very close from Potes. Easy to disconnect from the world, no noise at all. Thank you for the wonderful treatment you gave us!! My dog was very comfortable too!! Looking forward to going back soon!

We were a group of 6 bikers arriving late from the port of Santander (the ferry was delayed) on our arrival John and Gwneth (hope it spelled right) were brilliant. Despite the late hour they went out of their way to cook us all a lovely meal and with homemade chips too. The bedrooms were excellent, clean and comfortable, the...

This small but perfectly formed hotel is a must if you are in the area. Perfect hosts, Gwynneth and John are hospitable, generous and knowledgeable. Our room was great for our needs, spotlessly clean throughout the hotel and excellent food by John who is a skilled and confident cook. Ideally situated for easy access from the Santander ferry and well...

We stayed here for three nights in March. John and Gwen gave us great advice on places to visit in the region. Cozy and quiet place to stay with delicious food. Anybody staying here should try John's cooking at least once. We will try to come back at some point in the future.

The setting is charming and nice walks nearby. John's food is excellent and made the stay memorable. It is popular with bikers and we went on a bike..If you do ride BEWARE of the driveway to the house. .not at all bike friendly and someone dropped their motorbike during our stay..costing a lot of damage. The drive is steep and...
