The Pinewood Inn is old, and the rooms reflect this. It is clean and offers a very convenient downtown location, close to the Springs and several restaurants. Most motels require entry through a lobby and then to a guest room. The Pinewood has individual entrances from the parking lot. This is advantageous for a skier because one can park outside...

Stayed for one night, would look elsewhere in the future. There are plenty of other hotels to choose from, however, I was tired and always try to give the little Guys a chance. They really overcharged considering the conditions of the place. The only good thing about the place... Kips was right next door.

No air conditioning. A fan fastened on the wall needed two extension cords to reach the plugin. They have plastic on the mattresses, so it's noisy when you move. Otherwise the beds were comfortable. Pricey for what you get. Did not partake of the breakfast. Walked up to a wonderful bakery cafe about a block and half up the highway....

great cabins with a view of the mountains. It is off the main street, but it is still quaint. The cabins are available with kitchenettes in them and I love the bathrooms away from the beds. Walking distance to anything needed and a great stay for couples or families

Was charged for an extra person for literally having my friend bring my extremely heavy bag into my room. I am noticeably pregnant, owner said that wasnt his business or concern. Let me know we could settle in small claims court for the additional money he wrongfully charged. And for the exact same price a night you can stay at...

The Pinewood inn was clean the staff was friendly. We ended up staying there because they where pet friendly. The rooms where a bit outdated and the beds where a bit hard. But with the prices being what they were I'm not really complaining. Cute little inn!

This is a very old motel that is well maintained. Owners were very nice. Room and bathroom were small, but sufficient. A light, continental breakfast with great coffee was offered. The price was very reasonable.

My mother and I found this, very Americana hotel about 8 years ago. We've been coming back ever since. If your looking for a quaint, cozy, hotel this is it. Family owned and operated the managers daughters and wife actually do all the cleaning. and let me tell you its pretty. Sitting just a short walk from the San Juan...

I am a woman in my 70's on a fixed income who often travels alone. In Pagosa Springs I was looking for an affordable, clean, attractive and safe place to spend one or two nights. Happily I came across the Pinewood Inn. The roof and doors, painted bright red, call out "Welcome!" Inside the room was spare--all I needed--immaculately clean...
