We spent two days last weekend in a King Room in the main hotel area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are new owners (Mona and RIchard) as of Nov '16 and you can tell they take pride in their little piece of heaven. They are painting and landscaping and sprucing up the place. The cabins...

We enjoyed meeting you last weekend and are happy you had a great time, amid our annual clean-up and spruce-up time! Next time you come you will find many nice improvements and "green" changes we have made. We will have very little disposable items in our breakfast room, as we have changed over to "real" dishes, drink ware, and silverware.You...

I have stayed here a couple of times. The first time was in the cabin with several of my grandchildren. This time I stay in one of the rooms with a friend and it was fine. They have three Jacuzzi tubs out on the deck and the sauna so that made it extra special. It is quiet area and it's...

It was a pleasure to hear from you. It sounds like you had an enjoyable stay each time you were here. We hope you will continue to make us your "go to place" whenever you are traveling through this area of the Four Corners. The welcome mat is always out for you. Thank you for choosing High Country Lodge.

Stayed at the lodge and was given a cabin at no additional charge because the room we had booked was being pressure cleaned but the front office was unaware of this. The cabin was next to some guys digging a ditch and using a large truck to pull rocks out of the ground. The tires squealed and skidded for about...

Your review is a perfect example of “No good deed goes unpunished.” First you booked a pet free room through an online booking agency, and then called us to tell us you were bringing a dog. To accommodate you, we agreed to move you from a pet free room to a pet friendly room, and explained our pet policy to...

I hastily booked a cabin here a day in advance of our arrival, and was looking forward to our cabin "nestled in the trees". We showed up, went to our cabin and found ourselves surrounded by gray dirt and what looked like slash. The front porch appeared to be urine-spotted, and the accommodations were definitely rustic. I went to the...

We are sorry you feel you had a less than perfect experience here, but hope this will help you come to a better understanding. When you arrived and checked in, and were asked to read and understand our pet policy, you became angry and demanded that we supply pet blankets and a bed for your dog, because you did not...

I visited with Family including three children, had two rooms as all cabins were occupied and no more rooms available. The Owners and Staff are wonderful and caring for the guests. Rooms were cleaned and housekeeping service was excellent. Great Breakfast Room and Coffee Machine choices and items on breakfast were all very good. We travel during Spring Break in...

We enjoyed hosting you and your family. We had lots of fun suggesting restaurants, and new places to see and explore while you were here. The children especially seemed to enjoy their stay in a new place with lots of that strange white stuff you seldom see in south Texas. We hope you will return often and check out all...

High Country Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. It is right on the outskirts of Pagosa Springs and has amazing views, peaceful and quiet. We took a long weekend trip and this was a wonderfully relazing place to stay!

We are so glad you stayed with us, and had a relaxing time. This is a great place to kick back, and just do nothing, or to have an amazing adventure. The choice is always yours-hibernate in beautiful surroundings with a soak in the hot tubs, find a mountain hike to a hidden waterfall, go whitewater rafting, check out Chimney...

My husband and I really enjoy staying at the High Country Lodge. The rooms are clean and the staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. When I made my reservations over the phone the person I spoke with noted that we preferred not to have our room sprayed with air freshener. She assured me they would honor that request and indeed...

Thank you for choosing High Country Lodge for your ski trip. We were happy to host you. This was an awesome snow year and Wolf Creek Ski Area was at its best.
