Everyone loved this ranch with informative, gracious owners, very comfortable accommodations in the lodge and fantastic food prepared constantly by Kay, the cook. The cookie jars & fruit bowl on the Dining room buffet were constantly full to feed the hungry riders between meals, along with drinks needed to hydrate. The wranglers fit the guest with the horse best for...

Sunny Blue Eyes says “Hi Anne”! And Gus, being the calm and thoughtful horse that he is, sends his calm thoughtful greetings to Ken. Watching your families interact at the 50th anniversary reunion was truly heartwarming. Thank you for bringing us your joy!

We had a really enjoyable 3 nights here as a family. The place is relaxed, homely and accommodating. The cooking is home comfort food and I think we all gained a few pounds. They make is easy for you to do whatever you would like, between us in 3 days we managed plenty of riding, a couple of hours shooting,...

Hmm... Gandolf says: “Jonny – study hard!” And Journey says: “Ginney – take me with you! I want to be an astronaut too!” And Debbie says: “Eddie, you are NOT a 'spare child,' you are my treasured cowboy-friend.” The U.S. Forest Service has completed their fuels mitigation project and have opened our trails again -- yee-haw! So Candy (Debra) and...

Had a great vacation at this Dude Ranch, as a family group with both kids and adults of varying ages. We all had a great time. We were also allowed to bring or dog along, who enjoyed free run of the place (except of course the dining room) with several other dogs on the property. Evenings are casual, sitting on...

We're so glad that our home was a wonderful get-away vacation for y'all. Thank you for your praise, and ESPECIALLY for your suggestions! All of the rifles have gone to the gunsmith for siteing, Ivan created and installed new frames for 8”x11” paper targets and for playing cards (a target and trophy that y'all can take home in your shirt...

This was one of the most relaxing vacations ever. Everyone on staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a schedule, but it is not so rigid and you always have options to do or just be and relax. Ms Ellen is a very gracious and wonderful host. Ms Kay cooks up some fabulous food and you will never go...

Tara and Mike, we are so grateful to our active military families. You give up so much “normal family life” to serve us, and you ask for so little. We're glad that our Active Military Family discount made it possible for y'all to visit with us. And thanks for the pictures! Cormac, we expect to see you back here as...

We need a vacation from our vacation! We enjoyed horseback riding everyday with the exception of the horse rest day where we went white water rafting. The horses chosen for us suited each of us perfectly. We loved that we rode through aspens and rivers. We especially loved the challenge of scrabbling on horseback up and down the rocky areas....

Horses and Humans are very carefully matched here – we want everyone to enjoy riding at their own skill levels. All ten of the Logue Family's horses send their greetings! Ruthann and Jill's birthdays were a hoot!! So glad you enjoyed the Woodside cabin. Maybe we will see you again!

We just returned from a week at Sundance Trail, having visited previously in 2013. We returned with our family group of 16 because the first week was so spectacular. The return trip did not disappoint. Dan and Ellen run a ranch experience that makes you feel like you are at a home away from home with adventure at your fingertips....

It was so good to see you and the Keating Gang again! The reunion was so much fun. To the boys;; Jack, Sam, Dante and Andru – your horses all say: “Howdy boys!” And Mom, thank you for your kind words, we are grateful. Until next time, happy trails!

Just completed a short stay at Sundance. The owners Don and Ellen and the staff could not have been nicer. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Hi Doug! It's great to hear from you, and glad to know you had a good time with your horse and your wranglers. People often ask us if we are “ok” with solo guests. The answer is always: “Sure! This place is so much more than a trail riding experience. From the warm welcome to the fabulous family meals, it is a place of relaxation and restoration.
