I was on my way for an extended labor day weekend to a USFS campground near Rico, CO. I had made it to Salida when I just plain got tired of driving. So, I decided to save another three hours driving and try my luck at the local RV parks. I had no intentions of boondocking, though I did have...

Very friendly greeting and helpful staff at check-in! Thank you! This camp ground was several miles west of Poncha Springs. Not a problem with that. It was certainly peaceful here. We set up our tent at the T-18 camp site. Nice location, right next to the bridge and stream! The walk from our site to the bathroom/showers was about 100yds....

The park is overrun with campers who are here permanently. There is no tv reception , and no cable. The run into Salida is about 10 miles. The mountains around the park are breathtaking and there is a really pretty stream running on the back of the property. The campsites are very unkempt and ugly and the appearance of the...

We will never stay here again. The grounds are only standard. No amenities. And the power kept going out. We had to reset everything in the RV when this happened which was 6 to 7 times a dat. Seems they do not have enough power for this size of park. People were friendly though and somewhat helpful.

My husband and I are traveling the US currently so we have been able to stay at some really nice places, some in between and some not so nice. As I read the reviews about the old management we decided to give it a shot anyways! I am so glad we did! The gentleman at the front desk was so...

The pictures on their web site are deceptive. This rv park is in a dry and dusty canyon with constant high winds. We drove into the driveway and had to cross a very bad spot in the driveway which was a gravel dirt road. We had reserved our space weeks ahead but were told that our spot was being worked...

The NEW Staff was awesome!!! I would definitely come back here again. Bad reviews were from previous ownership. Spent three days here and would do it again. We brought along 3 families and had a great time. The staff also gave us infomation on a local fishing lake so we ended up having some surf and turf for our final...

I've never met anyone so rude as the manager of this campground, both on the phone and in person. Then, the campground was such a disappointment; all rocks, dirt and nothing else. The pool was there, but hasn't been operational for a long time. Camp store was sadly lacking in anything you'd want to buy. Overall, not a pleasant stay...

OK first of all this is a RV park and as such you should expect small sites all close to each other with no privacy. We booked this placed after Monarch Pass Campground was closed for the 4th July due to flood and I wanted a place near by for a night only. Place is by the road so no...
