I stayed here 3 nights for a job nearby. The hotel was clean. Nothing fancy. Location and price are good for this area, which is quite expensive otherwise. I could hear my neighbors through the walls. Desk staff were not helpful or friendly. All fine for a cheap hotel. However, the problem I had here was when I left something in my room and called soon after leaving to have them find and hold it for me. Despite telling the staff exactly where I left the item, they denied finding it and said it wasn't there. I know exactly where I left it, so someone in housekeeping must have taken it or thrown it away. The staff wouldn't answer calls and only sent me a one line email in reply to my enquiries. Not impressed.
While the staff was very friendly, I don't think they were very competent. When arriving in my room, I noticed 4 problems, that told me that the person cleaning the room was not thorough. Two of the draws had garbage in them, ketchup packets, other fast food sauces (opened), light build, straws, used napkins, etc. Theres was 1/4 roll of toilet paper in the bath and zero backups. The battery in the remote was dead. I went down to the front desk to make them away of the problem and they went up to the room to immediately take of of everything while I stepped out for dinner carry-out. When getting back I found one drawer cleaned, the other still wide open as I left it with the fast food sauces inside, a new remote battery and no extra TP. I had to go down to the dest a second time to get the TP. The hotel was not busy at all so this was unacceptable and not understandable. Not a comfortable room. The resin shower/bath tub combo was poorly installed. While standing on the shower floor, it creaked and squeaked very loudly. I am sure the neighboring rooms could hear y every move.…
I am a nurse, came to this hotel for a break. It’s in a great location and one of the few that allowed for my dogs. Our first night was okay, second day we started noticing the room smelling musty and smoky. I spoke with the lady behind the desk and she quickly got us a new room. We went from a king bed to 2 queens. Room smelled nice, no complaints. A day later I go to shower, the bathroom is only a shower and toilet. There is a heat lamp in the room. It was on while I was showering, I got done pulled open the shower curtain and BOOM the light explodes and glass rains down on me. Luckily my husband was right outside to help me, he laid towels down over the glass so I could get out. After picking glass out of my hair, he goes down to tell the front desk. The girl gives us a new room, comes to take a picture of the bathroom, never looks at me, never asks if I’m okay. Nothing. She moves us to a new room, tells my husband my manager will be here Thursday you can talk with them then. New room was fine. We were checking out Thursday anyways which was just 2 days away. We waited, no one called or came by to check on me. Thursday comes, we clean up and go to check out. Where the manager, some foreign lady, proceeds to tell me its my fault. It’s never happened here before, the heat lamp should not be on while showering. Luckily I didn’t cause a fire. In her 10 years of working there it’s never happened before. So it’s my fault. I stayed my whole stay, I should have left and gone elsewhere if I wasn’t happy. Even though I was told to speak with the manager Thursday. There is no warning about the light, no cover over the light, it’s cold in the mountains and I guess the only reason for the light is to keep you toasty while you pee. She said the room is warm while you shower so there is no need for the light. After going back and forth awhile. I finally said no one asked if I was okay, no one called to check in on me. All I wanted when I came up to you was an apology and to ask if I was okay. Instead you blame me for it and argue with me over whose right and wrong in this situation. She said well the girl told me everything was fine and you were happy to move to another room. Even though the girl never spoke to me. I told her you have my phone number, it’s on the reservation. You could have called me. But you didn’t. She said well Wednesday is my day off and when I heard what happened it was after 10:30 Tuesday night and I didn’t want to wake you. Your day off isn’t my fault. She said people come here, stay their whole stay and then complain about things and ask for discounts. I told her I’m a nurse i didn’t need a discount, i could pay for this room for another 3 weeks no problem. I feel like a light exploding on you while you’re in the shower isn’t a small thing to complain about. At the end she took off the $40 pet cleaning fee.…
Good price. This is a nice clean and accessible motel to the ski resorts. Nice pool and spa. Good breakfast. . Close to outlet stores. Right off US70. Two floors ...no elevator. Close to restaurants in Dillon and Frisco.
Where to begin, well we booked an affordable stay for a ski trip but lets start by saying that I believe this hotel is due for a name change. From the hole punched through the bathroom door, to the dirty blankets, window that doesn’t close or lock in the winter, to the extremely creaky shower and shower curtain that is literally disintegrating as it hangs there, this hotel is in much need of an update. The breakfast is also terrible, bagels and store bought donuts only. For the money, stay anywhere else, perhaps even your car would be better.
