This campground only has 8 sites available - so plan to arrive early to get one. First come-first serve. The first night we did not get a site but found a spot along County Rd 38 just past Dry Creek Campgrounds. Those sites are dispersed and free. However, having a toilet is nice so day 2 we drove through the... More

As others stated, very convenient location near Steamboat. We stayed on 8/4/14. Got in late when it was almost dark and 2 or 3 sites were still open out of the 8. Setup without much of an issue (bring firewood from town when you come up as we had to go back down at a 30 min round trip cost).... More

A few friends came in on a Saturday afternoon, not thinking we could get a spot. We checked all the "reserved" tickets and found one the someone had left from their one night stay the night before. I stayed at your campground for six weeks. met the sheep herders. saw the most amazing sunsets. the location tucked away in the wilderness is unmistaken to no other. This "is" Gods country.
