Camel's Garden is one of the most logical and practical places to stay in Telluride. One of the first things you get in Telluride is that cars are not the best way to get around town. So the cool thing about CG is the underground parking. Park it, and forget it. Everything from there is walkable. CG is a half...

I was in Telluride for a wedding during the "shoulder season" (between summer festivals and skiing). The room was lovely; large (plenty of sitting room), long and irregular (which I prefer to the standard square room), with a comfortable king-sized bed with nice linens. There was a fireplace I didn't use. The bathroom was also quite large, with a huge...

We visited Telluride during a summer road trip and found this as the perfect hotel for the night. Although the town was a bit quiet due to it being the off season, the staff were accommodating to our every need. However, I do want to say the parking situation is a bit confusing and tricky. The room though, was huge...

Great rooms, great service, perfect location. Close to town or the lifts. I recently spent 5 1/2 months in Telluride, I didn't have any bad experiences at any hotels or condos. I'll stay here again. ENJOY

We spent two nights at Camel’s Garden and really enjoyed it. Because it is conveniently located in downtown Telluride, we were able to walk to the shops, restaurants, and the gondola, which was right next door. The weather was quite rainy during our visit, so we spent more time than we normally would in the room. That was okay, though,...

After deciding to take an impromptu road trip from Denver to Telluride, we arrived without knowing where we would stay the night, I check Tripadvisor and found Camel's Garden. We arrived without a reservation and they had a room available (it was on a Wednesday), We were given room 101 and we were very pleasantly surprised when we opened the...

Great welcome to this great hotel with cheerful and informative and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms with good amenities. Free breakfast always helps. My room had a small balcony overlooking the quiet road out front. Convenient for the town and the gondola. A good choice.

The staff are some of the most amazing people I have come across. My girlfriend and I got into a really serious pickle on top of one of the nearby mountains. Several helicopters and two wonderful search and rescue climbers later, the gentleman at the fron desk, along with the head chef of the restaurant, the GM, and the rest...

My wife and I actually extended our stay here, due to this hotel's ambiance, cleanliness and large size of the rooms. We had a corner room, with king bed, which was huge, and well - appointed. Call the hotel or check their site for deals -- actually they would have beat the "deal" from TA. Underground, free parking a plus,...

My husband and I stayed here for three nights while vacationing in August. The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely and the breakfast was just what we needed before exploring the surrounding mountains. The location was also perfect because it's in town next to the free gondola, bike rentals, shops and restaurants.
