I booked this hotel using a popular booking website and confirmed the room using my card. When we arrived for our four night stay we were told the room we'd booked was not available for the first night. We were offered an alternative and promised money off the bill. I believed my card would be charged but had to go and get cash to pay for the room on our second day. At 7am the next morning we moved into the room we'd booked (King Room with Spa Bath - Room Number 1). The room was very nicely decorated and a good size however in my opinion it would have benefited from a television and a small fridge. This room cost £27 more than a room without a spa bath however the bath in the room isn't really what I'd call a spa bath, it's just a large bath. Also the taps don't quite meet the bath tub and the water kinda spills over the side before going into the tub. It took about 25 mins for the bath to be about 20% full. The hotel itself is beautiful and very nicely decorated. It kinda has like a Moroccan palace type vibe and it was such a nice place to return to after a long day exploring. There's plenty of seating and smoking areas and some nice outside seating. It's also located a very short walk away from Jomtien beach. There were some slight issues with service mainly due to a language barrier. We were put into one of their hostel rooms on our first night and tried asking whether we'd have the room to ourselves or not. Eventually we figured out we'd have the room to ourselves but they had to get another guest to translate for us. After this slight hiccup I could not fault the staff. They were all incredibly friendly although I expect somewhat inexperienced. I believe the hostel is a relatively new venture for two sisters and simple stuff like the WiFi password proved difficult to get hold of and there was no Chang Beer in the cafe on the first night. However, one of the members staff personally went and got some beer in for us which we greatly appreciated. It's hard to fault their efforts and with just a bit more time to iron out the wrinkles this place would get a five star review from me. I look forward to staying here again in the future. …
We booked by expedia, received a confirmation and had already paid. When we arrived at 7 pm with our 2 children she told us that she does not have a room. Obviously she was overbooked. She was very unfriendly and did not accept that she should help us. Instead of helping us they insulted us.
