The hotel is down a small Soi and about 100 metres away from the Beach. It's very clean, room are large, and good value for the money. Only downside is it has no lift so if you have limited mobility then this may be an issue. However, the staff are excellent and do their upmost to help. The hotel location is its main selling point. Would I stay there again certainly.
We are here on our third stay. What better recommendation is there? On a quiet Soi but convenient to many good restaurants, and the Baht Bus route into and out of Pattaya. The owners are really nice and helpful people.
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left our stay was nothing but excellent. The Sunny Beach is a residence not a hotel but in reality it had nearly all the facilities of a hotel, including a basic complimentary breakfast. There are only two members of staff, Krit on reception and Ulai for housekeeping both looked after us extremely well and nothing was too much trouble. The residence is in a small soi just two minutes walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants and bars all around. The residence is small, approximately 10 rooms which give it a home from home feel, in fact a couple of nights" being low season, we were the only guests. We had the largest room which was large... with big balcony the length of the room and a decent size bathroom with walk in shower. The rooms and facilities were spotlessly clean and were bright and airy. Excellent value for money. We will be staying there again in August. …
Staying two months to escape British winter...they knew I had health problems so my luggage was carried up to my room which was absolutely first class air con and balcony with the ubiquitous tv...the receptionists Ya and Boo were friendly and informative...rooms scrupulously clean, with a simple breakfast...you have to pass three massage parlours however once the girls know you they ignore you..its no problem...would recommend it to anyone..there is no lift ,but there is assistance...have booked for three months next year...it only has about nine rooms so you don't become a number and the staff know your name..about 70 yards to the beach...best rooms?-I would go for 202 or 203...
Sunny Beach is a small hotel within 50 metres of the beach at Jomtien. It is situated down a short side street off the beach road and close to many bars and restaurants. There are two very nice ladies who run the hotel between them and alternate between attending the reception desk and keeping the rooms spotlessly clean. No pool or restaurant but they do provide a light breakfast of fruit juice, toast and jam and Tea and coffee. The only downside I have to mention was being woken early in the morning by engine noise from two or three coaches searving the large hotel close by.
