If you plan on staying here, you won't regret it. Great rooms and location. More of a ski out than a ski in but you can still ride the lift back down to the hotel or enjoy vail village or lions gate and ride the free shuttle back in. The hotel is just very comfortable with many activities and everything is easy.

Room was as expected for the price and location. However, it is at the far West edge of Vail, which means you either have to take a shuttle to the main Vail Village or Lionshead commerce/ski areas (or ski school) every day or for dinner/shopping. The shuttle runs regularly but for the price of ski-in/ski-out some might feel cheated. The ala carte pricing was ridiculous. Vail overall demands a premium price but every item in the hotel was excessively overpriced...almost like they know you're a hostage and choose to take advantage. The apres ski was mediocre at best...far below other experiences at the Ritz or Four Seasons. When considering the price and location, I'd recommend another hotel.

great ski weekend, awesome ski in ski out facility, Ski valet handled the heavy lifting and the on site hot tub was very appreciated . Great beds and bedding after a long day on the slopes felt great . Restaurants on site , no reason to leave except for hitting the slopes
