Conveniently located to downtown Vail, and ski lift, this was a very nice, roomy hotel with exceptional staff and many of the amenities you would hope to have. We had a very short stay, literally 14 hours. With that, we had no time to enjoy any of the facilities. The downside was added that we had to pay a $30...

We really liked the location. Being able to go to the ski lift in regular shoes and putting on your boots at the lift was a dream. I will go back for this amenity alone. The staff at the resort and at Christy sports were so so friendly to everyone. Thank you!

The place is about to be renovated and it seemed like they are just letting it run down. Staff is very friendly and responsible- which was good given that we had a bunch of problems with the room. Food in restaurant was decent, not outstanding- service was very slow.

We love this hotel - it's rustic charm and location make it by far the best gem in Vail. Very laid back environment and the ski in and ski out with storage is so helpful when traveling with kids. The lounge is a great place to hang out and the shuttles make everything very accessible

We had a very pleasant stay at the Cascades resort. The property was beautiful with a great bar and pool/hot tub area. Everyone was extremely helpful and the ski-in/ski-out was easy and very convenient. We would return!

Truly the best experience I have ever had at a hotel! It was the weekend after the ski season was called over and the hotel had like 5% occupancy they upgraded our room for no extra charge! It felt like you were the only one there and it was amazing! Service was perfect! The room was perfect! With a balcony...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo. Easy to get to the slopes and very nice accommodations! We never had to wait for the shuttle. The bar was great. Loved the live music. A friend took a yoga class and loved it.

The Vail Cascade has gone over the edge. Time has not been friendly to the decor or the condominiums. During our recent stay we rented a 1 bedroom condo. On the first morning when we made coffee there was suddenly a cascade of black coffee all over the kitchen counter. The 12 cup coffee maker carafe had been replaced with...

Find another hotel. Disappointing stay for a seminar. Overpriced given the condition of the rooms and common areas. Scheduled for a renovation, which is much needed. Food provided during seminar was good. Bar food was good.

Cascade met all of our expectations. Not sure why it needs to close and renovate. Charter ski shop was very helpful and convenient. Cascade lift from shop was great. Breakfast at Atwater was perfect. Omelet chef was very accommodating. Again, nice job!!
