Just wanted to thank all at the Lodge at Vail who helped make our stay a truly enjoyable experience. Every employee went out of there way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. A special shout out to Benjamin, the manager who went above and beyond, the friendly and kind front desk staff, servers at both Elways and Cucina, concierge and valets. Can't beat the location and the service received. Plus the back bowls of Vail - we will be back!
My husband and I stayed in an Economy Studio for 5 nights during ski season. The economy studio was perfect for us. It's one bigger living room with a pull down Murphy bed, a full kitchen, and full size bathroom. Perfect for two people who are in Vail to ski and snowboard. The wood burning fireplace was lovely and it was nice that wood was provided outside the door. The pool was warm, the hot tub was super relaxing. The Lodge at Vail is well located by the slopes - steps away from Gondola One that takes you up to Mid Vail. Also, great location in the village - you can walk to shops, restaurants, and bars. We walked over to the Lionshead area and I'm glad we stayed in the village as there seems to be more restaurants and bars in the village. We really had a great time - thanks The Lodge!…
I had the pleasure to stay at The Lodge at Vail in December 2020. This resort exceeded my expectations. I wanted to ski and snow mobile and this resort come very handy when it comes to the fun on the slopes. If you want to ski, you just need to walk out of the resort towards the back and there you are in the village. Plenty of restaurants and ski rentals, shops, and more. The hotel concierge was very helpful and kind to help us book our snow mobile tour. I want to thank the valet personnel for taking us to a restaurant on their hotel vehicle and back to the hotel. For a tasty steak I highly recommend El way’s restaurant, and right across this place there’s another restaurant I also recommend for a delicious breakfast—both on site. I am very satisfied with my stayed! I would like to thank the General Manager Kate Grattan for provided me with such a tremendous guest satisfaction. …
It was our first trip to Vail with friends and this was the perfect place to stay. The room was clean and location was super convenient. The area downstairs was warm and welcoming. The food is also quite good. The hotel dog was plus :)
I have never written a bad review but had to let folks know the latest with the Lodge at Vail. Valet (tipped at arrival and departure) was just incompetent, breakfast restaurant was 30-40 minutes late with my to-go order (daughter had a ski school appointment) , front desk staff really rude with basic questions like pool/hot tub, location, dinner options etc. The only savior was that I took my kids to the pool/hot tub and everyone was so friendly and nice! This place needs an overall manager or retrain the staff. Lots of issues like this show that there is not someone on staff that leads or really cares. Most of the employees don’t really care about the guests. I even left by giving them the benefit of the doubt and tipped the bell guy $20 and he left my luggage outside my car and was helping someone else! So crazy....I almost asked for my tip back. …
