My family and I decided to spend Christmas week in Vail. I cannot put in words the warm welcome and the outstanding customer service we received from the moment we pulled up to the hotel. Everyone was so welcoming. Our room was spacious ,clean and very comfortable. The views superb! They leave complimentary masks, hand sanitizers, wipes and gloves in the room which was a nice touch to keep guest safe. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The skating rink right outside the hotel and the shops within a few feet of the hotel was a big plus. We didn’t ski because we traveled with little ones however the gondolas/ lifts were just a few feet away which made it the perfect spot to stay. I am beyond happy that we decided to stay at The Arrabelle, I look forward to coming back soon. Thank you for the amazing hospitality to all the staff that made our trip very pleasant!

Hotel's Favourite
This was our first stay at the Arrabelle. It is conveniently located in Lionshead Village so it walking distance to several restaurants and stores. You can also take a short bus ride to Vail Village. The resort was beautiful and the staff was attentive and courteous. They are practicing the Covid safety protocols closely so we felt safe. The spa was closed but we will definitely try it next time. The room was large and well appointed. The bed was comfortable too!

From the second I walked in, the front desk staff welcomed me and made me feel special. Room was immaculate and spotless. Very beautiful rooftop pool and hot tub area, with views of the mountains. The best part was the central location to the ice rink, Vail ski gondola, and the Haagen Das and other area shops and restaurants. Bed was also very well-made and rooms were extremely quiet. I will definitely stay here again.

For a fraction of the price you can stay at the Beverly Willshire, enjoy better service and amenities. Vail seems to be taking advantage of foreigners who are looking for a dream vacation in what is supposedly one of the world’s greatest ski resorts.

I've lived in Denver for 55 years, skied Vail countless times, watched VA develop Beaver Creek, including Bachelor Gulch....and played every golf course in the Vail Valley.....except Red Sky....in Wolcott. So...Vail is not a big deal for us ,but if you are a first time visitor or lived out of state or out of the country you wouldn't necessarily know anything about the place. This Sept. I called Red Sky to see if we could play the Greg Norman and Tom Fazio Courses. The answer was yes, but were required to stay in one of their 'approved' hotels. There were 5 or 6 on the list and over the years I've stayed in all of them, even during ski season. They booked us into the Arrabelle on Sept.15-16 at $358++/n for a lock-off king, 'shoulder season' rate (which was OK ) but what we got was pathetic. The hotel was literally dead and the desk clerk treated us as if we were lepers. No bell captain, no fire in the lobby fireplaces, no welcoming background music, only one snack bar type restaurant open, basically nothing. The desk clerk failed to tell us the room had a Keurig coffee maker, but didn't supply K Cups. There were no drinking glasses, not even a Styrofoam cup, if we had brought our own K Cups. The TV didn't work and I had to have engineering to the room twice and my business career was spent in cable television mergers & acquisitions, so I know what a television system is supposed to look like. I sent Zachary Meyers gen.mgr. a lengthy email, thinking he would appreciate my comments but instead received a patronizing and condescending note expressing his disappointment at my failure to experience "a world class mountain hospitality experience." Folks, NEVER STAY AT THE ARRABELLE. I wouldn't be a property owner there if you gave me the place. The golf courses were great!

Response from Zachary Meyers, General Manager at Arrabelle at Vail Square, A RockResort
Responded 2 Nov 2020
Dear Mr. Bosson, I wanted to send a note to again express my regrets for your experience with us having not living up to your expectations. Our mission to provide each of our guests with an experience of a lifetime and I am genuinely sorry to know that my efforts to follow up with you were taken as patronizing and condescending. I meant it when I apologized and thanked you for providing us with the feedback explaining our follow up efforts to address the areas of deficiency which you noted. We're truly disappointed to know the two nights you spent with us left you with such strong negative feelings toward The Arrabelle. As I mentioned in my prior correspondence, I'm at your service should you wish to discuss your stay with me directly. My full contact information is contained in my prior email and I'd be happy to connect with you personally if so. Sincerely,
