This property is in constant upgrade mode - to include the professional training for the staff - and it shows! Everything from the check-in to the breakfast bar, the comfort of the rooms, furnishings, common areas, are all top-drawer, and rivals a Hampton Inn for quality and comfort. The price alone makes this an attractive venue. If getting up the... More

Stayed at the Navy Lodge a few years back. What a difference. Brand new lobby, large breakfast (free), huge 2 bed room suites, they must have upgraded everything. What a treat for the price. After traveling for 2 weeks through the north east and staying in a variety of accommodations, my wife just loved the large room and great beds.

I was visiting my CGA cadet over Columbus Day weekend and checked availability at Navy Lodge just before I booked a VRBO house for the two of us. Great luck! We were in a nice spacious room on the first floor. Very friendly staff at check in. Breakfast was nice- oatmeal with toppings, waffles, cereals, bagels, coffee, juice. Lobby is... More

The Navy Lodge should be a first choice for military and vets staying in New London area. Easy access to the Navy base as well as the Coast Guard Academy. The Lodge is newly renovated and it shows. The staff respects the service of our military men and women.

My family stayed at the Navy Lodge at the end of August and had a wonderful experience! Our room was spacious with a large closet/bathroom and a nice kitchenette and even a sitting area. The room was very clean and quiet. The service was tremendous. I didn't eat the continental breakfast, but it looked pretty good. The coffee was great.

My husband and I travel and have stayed at numerous navy lodges across the country. This is our third stay at this lodge, but first since the renovations. It was clean and pleasing to the eye. The people were courteous and friendly. The lodge was at capacity, but noise level was low. When using the bathroom, the other occupants of... More

Such a lovely place to stay. The room is very large. The kitchen has a mini refrigerator, a cook top, coffee machine, toaster and all flatware, plates glasses and cook utensils you'd need. The bathroom has the bath and toilet separated in another room so two can get ready at a time. I have nothing negative to say. However, if... More

This lodge really surprised us. It was an awesome stay in a lodge with a very clean and sterile exterior and interior. The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The suite was very updated and super clean. Our house keeper Carmen I believe her name is was very accommodating to our needs. We never actually met her... More

Stayed here for leisure with my boyfriend who's an Army soldier. Found this place last minute when we were visiting the area. They accommodated us swiftly and easily and were very friendly! It may not look like much from the outside, but inside is beautiful! A gorgeous Naval theme of blue, black and white and the room we had was... More

“The facility is two story and there is no elevator, only steps to the upper floor. They do accept pets in certain rooms. Downstairs rooms would be perfect for handicapped as there are no steps to enter the building.”
