Went for a meal here which was very tasty . staff very friendly .the problem we had was ordered wine to discover it was vey expensive for a bottle that you can buy in a supermarket £6.50 .we paid 3 times more for it I don,t mind paying for a good bottle of wine but that it was a cheap bottle and charged far to much for it..I know they have to make a profit but this was too much.

Excellent restaurant with interesting menu. Good service and good value.
Really interesting menu and the tapas and main course I had were all absolutely excellent. Good value too. Staff all friendly and service was good. Good selection of beers too. The place was full on a Saturday evening so advise to book. Happy to recommend this place.

Excellent
Have visited a few times since it opened and have never been disappointed. Food is excellent and staff all lovely. Last time we turned with no reservation and we’re advised food may take a little longer as they were busy but no, all arrived in good time.

Super new go-to restaurant for the area with a top chef. Definitely worth a visit. :)
We had a warm welcome on arrival at St Michael's Inn. The extensive menu is varied and interesting with a few Spanish/Mexican dishes available. We chose tapas, mussels, quesadilla and beef burrito. The white wine was lovely and service was friendly and . attentive. We all enjoyed our food very much and we will return. The toilets were spotless. St Michael's Inn is undergoing renovation by the new owners and the decor will be improving going forward. So lovely to meet the new owners. We learned that Paella can be ordered in advance so we're looking forward to trying that!

Birthday meal for two.
Arrived at the Inn to a warm welcome. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the owners friendly and chatty. The meal was fantastic. The burger was perfect as was the Balmoral chicken. And the desserts were exceptionally good. We will definitely return with our friends.

Really tasty lunch.
Popped in for a late lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced too. The only thing that could be added is a drinks menu for us indecisive patrons :-) We are looking forward to coming back soon!!

Disappointing
We decided to pop in for a meal as we were regular customers pre covid. The inn has recently been taken over and is open again, We had the steak pie which used to be a popular favourite at the resteraunt. Our food was unfortunately only like warm, the steak had a lot of fat in it and little seasoning the peas were also undercooked. The toilet seat in the ladies was not clean. The waitresses were pleasant enough but I didn't want to hear their conversation taking place right behind me at the bar. This place will definitely have to up it's game if they are to survive in this current financial climate.

Warm welcome and convenient stay when visiting St Andrews
We felt spoiled by the generous hospitality of Manuel and Krystal! Comfortable, clean rooms in newly reopened classic Inn. Wonderful food / menu in restaurant blending local Scottish with twist incorporating Spanish/Mexican heritage of owners. Fantastic, attentive staff. Very convenient to get to train station and St Andrews by bus. We hope to return!

Lovely to see St Michaels Inn open
We stopped off after noticing that St Michaels Inn had reopened. The staff were very welcoming and we had a few drinks and a meal. Very nice menu and the food was excellent. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly be returning. We wish the new owners all best wishes for continued success

Great to have this place re-opened.
We had lunch with friends today, all the .the food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. A lot of refurbishment work to be finished but should be great when it's finished. Can't wait to go back again.
