Our stay at this property was a wonderful experience. Our arrival confirmed that no amount of website pictures could have prepared us for the reality of this beautiful and historic chateau. The approach was through a long avenue of trees to the grand entrance gates opening out onto the driveway and gardens fronting the property and its surrounding parkland. We...

This is something more than just a countryside château owned by a noble family. This a château is run with love, pride and passion while focusing on paying attention to details. Ivana and Hélie put their high personal standards to their hospitality along with home made which is actually very well made bread, yogurt, marmalade and local cheeses from near...

Stayed here during Le Mans Classic with friends. A beautiful chateau set in superb surroundings. Decorated in period furnishings and decor with creature comforts. If I had to be picky, there is no bar but Ivana was wonderful and allowed us to use her fridge to keep drinks cold . We were made to feel very welcome which has not...

Had a fabulous stay here. The chateau is beautifully furnished and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection including homemade jams, breads and yoghurt. Irvana speaks good English and a good host however after a five hour drive the offer of tea or coffee would have been welcome.

Dear Sarah, it was really a pleasure to have you with us in Hodebert and thank you for your message. I'm sorry for the tea or the coffee ... but perhaps you didn't see you had in your bedroom some tea, cup, sugar and hot water ? I hope to see you a next time ! Ivana

It was our first experience to stay in château. We were positively impressed by the atmosphere, the style, the ancient furniture and decoration and the unique nature as well. We do appreciate all the efforts Ivanna and her family is doing on a daily basis to keep this place in such a perfect condition and to let tourists like us...

We loved staying here. The rooms are large, the breakfasts plentiful and delicious (homemade bread), and the hosts gracious and very helpful. Just be aware that due to location you will have to drive 15 to 20 minutes for dinner at very good local restaurants, and even longer if you are visiting chateaux along the Loire. But the location is...

It was by pure serendipity that we had the pleasure of finding this wonderful chateau online for a weekend in the Loire Valley. We were pleasantly enchanted by the warm greeting we received when we arrived, by Ivana, who along with her husband Hélie, so beautifully restored this property to its original grandeur. We booked the Passiflore room that looked...
