The Bell never fails to deliver. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and tasty freshly prepared good food promptly served. We visited on a Monday evening and it was pretty full. But our order was quickly taken and food arrived soon. The burgers really are delicious! No room for puddings 😄 Will be back soon.

We had read good reviews about The Bell so we arrived for an early evening meal, without making a booking. Although it was very busy due to it being a special Steak night, the hosts were more than happy to accommodate us. It is a very friendly pub & the meal we had was most enjoyable, just sorry we couldn't...

Super food, super service with friendly caring staff, would visit again, need to book for a Sunday roast. Some tables are large enough to seat 6 without being cramped as well as not all squeezed up together. We ate inside but there are benches outside. My son was enjoying his birthday and for his sweet, the staff put a lit...

Went to Devon with friends for s week break, stayed in cottage, this pub was the local, owners so friendly, and also all their staff, and not to forget the local people. Food was extremely good we had most of our evening meals there couldn't fault any of them, would definitely go back there.

This obviously a very popular local haunt and we were warned we might have to wait for our table/meal. On the contrary, we were seated and fed very promptly; great beers on tap and super pub food. Highly reccomended.

We visited this pub today. Traditional in style and beer. Very good food, reasonably priced. Well worth going out of your way to visit. I had steak and ale pie. Lovely. Nice view of the church and square where we sat. Very busy for a Monday and very dog friendly.

Easter Sunday, booked just in case, and pub very busy with a good friendly atmosphere. Reasonably priced menu, we both had the lovely steak pie. Beer also very reasonable and good! Service excellent both from waitress side and behind the bar, will be back some day.

Great atmosphere in this Inn. Huge selection on the menu and really good sized portions at reasonable prices. Food was wonderfully hot! There is accommodation here but we only called in for lunch so cannot comment on this. Very pretty village with lots of history which is shown by the photos on the walls. Very friendly bar staff and dogs...
