Stayed here for one night with my partner and the place is gorgeous and the staff could not do enough! Free bottle of Prosecco because we had to come back down to order food 20 minutes later! Would go again anytime, AMAZING place

So pleased to have this little gem on our doorstep. We read the reviews on here and decided to try it. Well worth the wait, it was beautiful. One of the nicest meals I have had. The waitresses on tonight are a credit, compliments to the chef and the place was immaculate. I couldn't find any fault, perfect. We are...

The room was top notch and surprisingly contemporary. I stayed in the 'Copper' room which was furnished with a huge bed, copper bathtub and black marble style shower. The staff were simply outstanding and took care of my every need. I stayed here whilst on a business trip but would happily visit the area again just to stay here. Thank...

10 out of 10 for every aspect of our recent stay. The friendliness of the staff, the excellence of the food and quality of the rooms all contributed to a superb experience. My only fault would be that we had only booked to stay one night!. I don't think the place will require to do any advertising, as word of...

Honestly the best food I have ever ate in England. There is a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the owner is clearly proud of this place. The room was excellent and the bath was perfect. I will definitely be staying here again!

We arrived on 22nd August at 12am. We were greeted by a lovely young gentleman. I'd rang up prior to let them know we were going to be late which they were fine with. The young man lad us to our room, which was just beautiful! Once Wed put our stuff in the room,we went down to the bar. Which turns...

I found this little place towards the end of a contract in Workington, and how unhappy was I? This B&B is contemporary and certainly ticks all boxes. The themed rooms are lovely, I have stayed in the wooden & slate rooms, both clean and have little quirks of their own. Thick soft carpets, very comfortable beds add to the experience...
