Seemingly more prominent signage for the Indian restaurant than for the hotel. Weird side-back entrance. Not a very welcoming entrance and desk area. Sliding window that separates desk clerk from guest. Friendly couple checked us in. Hall smells like smoke. "Private" room (manager apartment?) had three pairs of shoes outside the door. Room was clean and large. Brand new GIANT...

In Middletown for a wedding at the nearby Wadsworth Mansion. The motel, as others have noted, is not new by any means and getting in is a bit awkward as the the entry door swings across the entire width of the top step. The check-in person was very nice as was his green parrot (nice pen twirl). The room is...

Fine for the price. Nothing fancy, but the room was big and clean. Would have given it 4 stars, but the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. The non-smoking room did not. They did have microwave/fridge/coffee maker and two bottles of water out.

We drove from PA to CT for a funeral. We weren't familiar with the area so I relied on tripadvisor reviews. There isn't anything fancy about Passport Inn but, it was clean, quiet and we had a great night's sleep. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms have mini fridges and microwaves. The bathroom was a bit dated, but...

The main entry door is on a step that's too small to stand on and open the door. Once inside, the manager is behind a glass door. It feels weird at first but compared to the similarly priced Inn across town, this place is a paradise. The building has been renovated and the rooms are large. The little balcony looks...

We stayed here one night with five other couples in our family. The family took up most of the second floor. We were all attending a wedding at the Pavilion at Crystal Lake. This was the hotel closest to that. It is also close to Middletown, but you have to drive there. The room was quite large and clean. There...

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times when visiting my son at Wesleyan. The rooms are very clean and the service is very friendly. I left a pair of shoes and the owners were willing to send them to me. Great quality price relationship!

I had stayed in this hotel during my 3 months appointment at CVH hospital, which is 5 min driving distance, with no traffic ever. The room huge very clean, excellent service. They are very good and plus: pet friendly. Highly recommended motel/hotel.

When I booked the hotel I was a little iffy because of the cost (cheap), plus the mixed reviews i've seen. When we walked in it wasn't the most welcoming place but the guy at the front desk was very nice. We got the key to our room, which was right down the hall. We opened the door and were...

This place is the worst I ever stayed in. The room smelled like something died in there. And would not let me stay with my friend for a coupled night a week, even though I offered to pay. These people were not nice at all.

Thank Stoney L

“This area is centrally located & offers many economical lodging choices, that are not only cheaper, but also similarly clean & pet friendly. Pick a different place that is fully staffed & offers customer service, in addition to honoring the price that was quoted to us-twice .”
