Just returned from a 2 night stay in the Hoxie House. The room overlooked the Mystic River and the bridge. I have a 30+ year history with Mystic including many other stays and this was by far the nicest experience. Being able to stay in a beautiful room in a picturesque setting and be within walking distance of many shops... More

We recently spent 3 nites in the Hoxie House overlooking the Mystic Bridge. Old school charm meets modern amenities. Our room was immaculate with fireplace and heavenly bed. Bath so large, one could swim laps and a shower head like a fire hose. The staff was on top of their game and Mitch, the captain of the ship, steered us... More

We have stayed at the Whaler's Inn before due to it having the best location in Mystic. Walking downtown to shop and eat is a huge bonus. This time we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms with bunk beds. We were on the top floor (3rd) and there is no elevator so be aware of that. But the... More

Stopped here for 2 nights on our way to Boston. Nice warm welcome, fresh cookies & tea/coffee available. Good sized rooms, fresh linen & towels & shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. Unfortunately our bed wasn't too comfy, it felt like the head of the bed was lower than your feet & the mattress was really really soft. Great location, would recommend & stay... More

The inn was clean and spacious and as pictured on the website. It is close to the village and in walking distance to many great restaurants. The only negative was that the firealarm went off both days we were there. The first time was at 1:30 am in the morning. This was frustating given that we were trying to get away... More

Loved the Whaler's Inn, centrally located for walking to shops and restaurants. Great service, on check in we were given tips on restaurants for dinner and they quickly made our reservations for us.
