We recently attended a wedding in New Haven and this was one of the hotels listed on the bride and groom room block. It was a great choice - older hotel recently renovated - Lovely reception area, rooms tastefully decorated and comfortable, and staff very pleasant and accommodating. Parking garage directly across the street and fee is added to your...

Our stay in the New Haven Hotel made our family holiday celebration one of the most comfortable one in many years. The bedding was luxurious and the staff members were awesome. Unfortunately, we did not dine there for any meals, so we cannot report on that, but if the rooms and staff are any clues, we could imagine that the...

Very nice (recently renovated ) hotel just south of the Old Campus/Green area. it is a 2-3 block walk to shops, food etc. but the area (mostly office buildings) is quiet and well lit. Staff is very friendly, and goes beyond the call of duty. I arrived @ 11 for a 3pm check in simply hoping to drop my bag....

From the hotel you can reach any place in downtown, in particular Yale University. Room was very good. Breakfast is well provided. Very good point: from 5:00 to 7:00 pm they offer complimentary wine (it's good) with some finger food. I recommend.

We very pleased with the hotel. the lobby is beautiful and the staff was very helpful. the room was large and the shower had plenty of hot water with nice bath products and fluffy towels. The location was ideal to everything we wanted to do. I thought, based on the reviews, that the hotel parking was going to a hassle,...

We found we were two blocks from the Shubert Theater, where our concert was to be. Within walking distance here were dozens of choices for dining - Mexican, Turkish, Japanese, Thai, vegan/vegetarian. A four block stroll brought us to two great art museums associated with Yale. We never had to move our vehicle from the hotel-associated parking lot across the...

The NewHaven Hotel was clean, well-staffed, comfortable and reasonably priced. The garage is across the street and has very tight turns on the ramps so be warned if you're driving anything but a Mini Cooper or Smart Car!

Chose to stay here when I had an interview at Yale. They allowed me to check in 1 hour early and the room was clean and sufficient. I liked that it was walking distance to everything (restaurants, bars) and about a 10 min walk to the art museum.

I chose this hotel for the location. The room was comfortable once I got the temperature down sufficiently (in December). It was what one would expect in a downtown hotel trying to be "classy", but there were no memorable features. An excellent motel in a location that didn't suit my needs would have been $100 less expensive than the discounted...

I was put up here by Yale University. The room was clean with comfortable bed. Shower was fine.. no tub which I actually like. Windows don't open. No room service. No free treats like coffee or apples. Free internet was fast enough.
