Stayed for a week. Marvellous place. Terrace opens into the Blue Lagoon. Quiet sea can be seen from bed. Loveable, though having basic frugal facilities but it's strategic location and excellent home cooked food served on the beach as also hospitality of Mr. Jamal Uddin and the Attendant Md. Sabate make up for all deficiencies.

Mr. Jamal and Mr.Syed .. First of all... Thank You!!!! Lakshadweep is not a easy place to visit.. But it's worth all the effort. With Jamal on your side.. everything becomes easy. He is real kind person. The people there are conservative until you make an attempt to befriend them. We were very skeptical about our visit to this paradise... More

Do not attempt to stay at Kasim's Resort in Agatti. As an Indian citizen (foreign tourists also need permit), one cannot stay at Agatti. Even if you have the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from your local police. Owners (Syeed Jaffri / Jamaludheen Pattambalam - 944790541, 8129734322) and his accomplice in Kochi (ANWAR HUSSAIN 09446558548/ 09497594369) are a complete sham and... More

Visited Agatti and nearby islands in Nov 2015 and stayed at Kasim's homestay. Overall a good homestay with all basic amenities. Mr Jamal made sure that our stay was comfortable. I will recommend this homestay to others, but please ensure you have your entry pass before entering Lakshadweep. The beauty of this island is just stunning - the corals, blue... More

I had read the reviews here before booking Kasim's. There were a few deriding the property. I wish to emphatically state that the family running Kasim's are ABSOLUTELY wonderful people. They are NOT money minded AT ALL. Their only concern is to make the guests comfortable...and to cater to their every wish. The property itself is located just minutes away... More

We had our December trip planned well before in the month of August. Did all the bookings like flight, hotel reservation etc. Last minute in the second week of December we get to know we have not got our permit to lakshadweep yet and we panic. But Mr. Jamal assures us that it's his responsibility and he will see to... More

We got stuck in Agatti as our flight was cancelled bcoz of technical failure. Day 1 we spent at state guest house, which was ok, staff was good, bt like most govt properties, soulless and away frm beach. Shifted to Kasim homestay. Its on beach, secluded from crowd. Rooms are ok, neat and clean. Only one boy looks after the... More

The best part of Kasim's Homestay was that the beach was barely 30 meters away. The room was spacious and as clean as it can be on an Island like Agatti. Jaffrey was a very good host, always eager to serve, with a smile and humility. In spite of being an island with no home grown vegies, he served us... More

“.awsome experience...the beach is just a literal stone's throw away, about 20-30 walking steps...rooms are clean, food is as per demand, the best being fish masala cooked in vinegar with rice cooked in coconut milk...very laid-back place, nice & relaxed climate...people are really nice...My experience with the staff is - if you are good to them, they will surely be good to you...Do not expect everything to be hunky-dory all the time, enjoy every moment...small adjustments need to be done, but these are negligible (this is not Maldives)...We did Turtle watch (lots of them), visited 5 uninhabited islands - Kalpitti, Tinnakara, Bangaram, Parli-1 & Parli-2...Mr. Kamruddhin, our dive instructor was superb, he introduced us to the beautiful underwater coral & fish-worlds...hired bicycle for the duration of our vacation...also did hook fishing on the beach in the evening...Last but not the least, the owner Mr. Jamalludhin was a great host”
