I saw reviews from other campers but i had to check it out for myself. I came to visit Camp Niantic for the weekend with my two sons 8 and 10. First impression was very nice, It's rustic and cozy. It reminded me of the good old days when I went camping with my mother and my father. It didn't...

Stayed here July 8-10, wish we had stayed 0.4 miles down the road at rocky neck state park. Camp ground is very run down. Roads are full of rocks and pot holes and ruts. Grass does not appear to have been cut all year. Bath house was filthy..... Talked to some folks who told us that a permanent trailer had...

I was there this past weekend, all I can say is I most certainly will NOT be going back..the campground was unkept, weeds growing out of control, old RVS everywhere and not to mention the bathrooms were FILTHY. You even have to pay 50 cents to take a 3 minute shower. The playground was old and dirty as well. Not...

There is something very important about Camp Niantic that everyone should know-It might be in a state of flux, something that needs attending to as soon as possible; it might have travel trailers that have extended their welome, but it also has something that will liken it to a diamond in the rough, a plant that has been left too...

In the center of the camp ground is 1/2 destroyed campers and garbage. It's awful!!! Loud people lighting off fireworks all night into the morning. Kids wondering around all hours looking like they were scopping out cars to break into. Nothing maintained!!! The people who work they may be nice but that's not enough to run a camp ground. With...

If you want something close to the beach then this is your place. Keep in mind it's very wooded, outdated facilities compared to other RV parks, very slow WiFi, unlevel pull thru sites. The front desk clerk was very friendly, but this campground needs some serious maintenance attention. However, if you have hour own camper and do not need pools,...

Our stay at Camp Niantic was great. Very close to salt water fishing and other places to enjoy. It is a clean and fun place for the whole family. The people who run the place (Carol) are so friendly and treat thier guest like family and truely live up to the name (Family Campground. Thank you Carol so much for...

We pulled into this place and could not leave fast enough. They do not groom there trees for motor homes. They only have a dump station and there roads look like creek beds. I would not suggest this park to anyone. They don't take credit cards, and the place is not kept up at all! No enforcement of any kind...
