my wife and i stayed for 1 night and we were very happy with our room. it felt more like a small condo with a back door that opened onto a beautifully trimmed lawn.our room had a king sized bed, a nice ceramic tile floor, a full size refrigerator, a spotless bathroom and an air conditioner that handled the 90...

I arrived about 6:00pm. The desk clerk was quite friendly even referred to me by my firdt name. I inquired if there was an ice machine. She said not but there was an ice tray in the refrigerator in the room and there should be ice in it (there was no ice in it) or the on site restaurant had...

At first glance, this motel looked like the kind of place I’d been looking for. It reminded me of the kind of motor court we used to stay in when I was a kid, right down to the Adirondack chairs outside the rooms. The motel is a long single-story series of red brick buildings, and looks like it’s been kept...

My Wife and I together with our friends stayed at RNI for 3 days end Sept. Cannot believe some of the negative reviews. Yes this is an old place but surely this only adds to its charm. Coming from England this is the quintessential American Motel. Our rooms were both clean & comfortable with all the amenities required particulary the...

We stayed for one night (We were travelling New England & staying at so many places i thought i'd booked two nights....thank god i hadn't.) The room was tired but i usually forgive that. What i hated was we'd been put next door to long term rednecks who spent from 4.00 pm till gone 9.00 pm moving out.....they parked across our...

I stayed for a month the end of July to the end of August. It was a great bargain. The motel is located just across the road from Rocky Neck State Park & beach. The Innkeeper Pam was thoughtful and helpful --- all the things you would want. The AC did break but was fixed in short time. I would...

I stayed here based on other glowing reviews from TripAdvisor, but have to disagree with them. One night was enough and I would not stay here again. The Rocky Neck Inn has appealing grounds with large shade trees and flowers by the units, which are attractive with their red brick and white screen doors, framed by plastic Adirondack chairs. Once...

Let me start off by saying that this is not a luxury hotel... far from it... however it is a slice of travel the way it used to be. This is a true classic motel. Thirty(?) units on the ground floor surrounding a park like play area. From the outside and inside of the rooms you would think you had...

The RNI has reasonable rates and has a laid back comfortable feeling to it. The place is great for long term business trips. They offer quiet comfy rooms with a great friendly staff. Some of the rooms offer a fool size fridge and kitchen. Internet is free and up to the highest speeds. This is my second time staying there...

I am not a snob but this hotel was terrible. Our room looked like it came out of the 1950's. There was nothing new at all in the room we were in. The room had a stale smell to it and even after putting on the air conditioner did not take the smell away. One of the beds' linens were...
