My wife and I took a two-night getaway here recently. T.W. (and Tabu) are wonderful hosts. The accommodations are very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The lovely pool is a great spot to relax. Highly recommend a stay here. We will be back.

Thanks so much for the great review and taking the time to do the review in the first place! Very much appreciated! Tabu also thanks you for those nice words. Breakfast in a building built in 1763 should be delicious:-) It doesn't hurt we use real local maple syrup, locally farmed and made jams and preserves, range-free certified organic eggs,...

My wife and I were visiting the area and chose this inn due to its proximity to our destination. The room was clean, the inn was charming and the innkeeper, TW, was friendly, personable and attentive. In addition his breakfast was excellent. The waffles were unbelievable. We are going back just to go back.

So glad you enjoyed staying with us and found us to be a great place! Thank you too for taking the time to review us. Appreciate those nice words about our breakfasts! A B&B (bed & breakfast) should, after all, offer a very nice breakfast:-) Thank you again. We look forward to welcoming you back. T.W.

Recently stayed for an overnight while seeing a show at Infinity Hall- just 2 miles from town and very convenient! The Blackberry is an open, friendly B&B w/ large, clean rooms. the breakfasts are modest but well-presented. They very much want to please! Highly recommended if you're looking in the area.

Thanks so much for taking time to review us! We very much appreciate the compliments and recommendation! Our breakfasts may not be fancy, but everything is made to order. We use as much locally-sourced food as possible, and we prefer organic. The honey is locally-sourced, the maple syrup is real maple syrup from this area, the eggs are free-range certified...

This is a beautiful and spacious inn just near Norfolk that boasts comfortable rooms and a home-cooked breakfast in a lovely sunny dining room overlooking a farm. Carriage house separate from main house, but cozy nonetheless.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review the Inn! We are delighted that you had a good stay with us and enjoyed our breakfasts. We have been focusing on a new breakfast menu this year--using lots of locally sourced foods, using free range certified organic chicken eggs, organic milk, real half & half, locally sourced real maple syrup,...

My husband and I were looking for a one night get away. The Blackberry River Inn was a great experience. We were met by the Inn Keeper and his dog. They showed us the property and our room. They have many common spaces, including a room with 3 pianos. When we arrived they had just baked cookies. The room was...

So glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Yes, Tabu and I--my shadow, as you know. True, our rooms do not currently have satellite TV service, but most of the rooms now feature a flat screen HD TV as well as a DVD player and a growing DVD movie library. Of course, we have complimentary Wi-F throughout the property--even at...

We recently stayed at the Inn while attending an event at Limerock Park in Connecticut. The Inn is quiet and clean. The room is pleasant, comfortable and clean. The inn keeper, T.W., is hospitable and accommodating. He got up early to fix us a delicious, healthy breakfast allowing us to get to our event on time well fed! We are...

A very well cared for, maintained and managed New England Inn. Everything we encountered was immaculately placed and clean. The breakfast menu offered various juices, fruit cups, eggs, omlettes, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, hot cereal, toast, coffee prepared and served with an obvious attempt to please and it did. The grounds and pool are well kept and the setting is idyllic...We...

In New England, bed and breakfasts and inns are very competitive. I think this place needs some TLC to keep up with other places in the area. The grounds need some upkeep, a paint job would be good and fresh wallpaper and carpeting would make a huge difference. The owner of the place made it difficult to make reservations while...

Thank you for taking time to review Blackberry River Inn. I am so sorry you had the problems with cleanliness and bugs in the bathroom. My sincere apologies.
