The Thoreau as it is located off the Keeping Room and near the kitchen and dining room is usually quiet. The Main Inn sits up close to the road so perhaps road traffic could be an issue if you are lite sleepers. We look forward to you staying with us sometime soon. Kind Regards, Michael
