We just spent my Husbands surprise Birthday weekend at Captain Grants it was great. Carol and Ted were wonderful hosts and the staff real friendly and attentive. We spent time at the Casinos, Mystic and Wineries which were all close by. Breakfast was the best of all bests we sat with other guests and Carol & Ted joined us. We...

Loved the whole package- atmosphere, history, room, and breakfast. This is a property that has seen centuries pass and holds many personal stories and secrets, and it is cared for with love and respect by the current proprietors. My friend and I spent the evening at Mohegan Sun with all of the glitz and sparkle, but the highlight of our...

It was a wonderful stay. Carol & Ted were great hosts. When we checked in Ted gave us a quick tour, we were surprised to find the accommodations so comfortable. It was 10-15 minutes from Foxwoods. There were cookies available and a small fridge of beer & wine. Then in the morning, the coup de grace - breakfast - we...

On October 28 I booked a room at this B&B for New Year's eve using Booking.com. I received a confirmation by email. On November 30 I received a call from Carol telling me that I did not have a reservation because there was a two night minimum on Dec 31. When I objected she said they would look into it...

Lovely historical home close to the casinos and to Mystic. Each room is furnished with antiques and is full of character. Several of the rooms are said to be haunted. The innkeepers are friendly folk who serve a huge breakfast of eggs, breakfast meat, potatoes, pancakes, home-made jams, juice and coffee. The inn is cozy and has a game room...

My husband and I really enjoyed it - the history, antiques, very comfortable. Carol and ted are good hosts. The other guests at breakfast seem to have experienced some jiggling of doorknobs and unexamined footsteps, but alas we did not experience any haunting.

We just spent our 35 year wedding anniversary in the quaint and comfortable Adelaide room. We spent the day in Mystic Seaport and showed up in the afternoon being met by Ted who showed us around the house. He suggested a great Italian restaurant where we had a great meal before gambling at Mohegan Sun. We woke to an incredible...

Always waiting to greet guests and make them comfortable, in so many ways! The Inn is like an old home, with comfortable and cozy seating areas, baked goods , and a glass of wine ready to be shared. Great conversations and welcoming hearts, comfortable bedrooms and nice amenities. Easy sitting porches overlooking lawn and fields, and spectacular breakfasts. Ted and...

I bought tickets a couple months ago to see Fergie at Mohegan Sun. It was a wonderful show by the way. I started looking at hotels for a Sat night stay and the casino itself wanted $600. Out of my budget, The nice hotels in the area were all booked up, so decided to look at B&B's. Most places require...

Let me first start by saying that the owners Carol and Ted are lovely people. They are knowledgeable about the area and have been doing this for over two decades. They have interesting stories about the inn including stories about how the inn is occupied by spirits. Ask them how they met. If you are looking for perfection, then do...
