Absolutely wonderful stay at the Beaufort cottages for our family of nine. We booked two, a four bed and two which worked perfectly. Such a tranquil place, we felt so at ease on the first leg of our holiday. The men went fishing and caught 3 good sized trout which they enjoyed immensely. We walked into the small village of...

We had the opportunity to stay at the Beaufort house for a week in the beginning of August and had a wonderful time. Rachel and Donald made our stay truly amazing. They made a three course dinner for us three times while we stayed and the meals were better then most restaurants I've eaten at. We were lucky enough to...

This property and the family that run it are just exceptional. The rooms are all beautiful and huge, the yard is pristine and the river nearby is charming, and the family that runs everything is absolutely the best. So helpful in every way (helped us find a babysitter, set-up croquet, got us diaper creme, printed off boarding passes - just...

We rented out the Manor House and all cottages for our family vacation with 17 people. The place is fabulous, absolutely perfect in every way! The Manor house is elegant, yet comfortable and inviting. The beds, linens, towels, robes, fresh flowers, etc all contributed to a enchanting stay. The grounds are immaculate with lots of green grass, river walks, swings...

We stayed here for a week to celebrate our mother`s 80th. We were 14 adults and an infant. We took two adjoining cottages with 7 bedrooms, all ensuite. The entire property is all green and tranquil with a lovely river running close by. Rooms, living area and kitchen were all extremely well appointed. Donald and Rachel were very gracious hosts....

Truly one of my favorite places of all time. Traveling with friends, we stayed in the actual manor house itself. It was wonderful. We each had our own bedroom/master suite (because the rooms were all huge!) with our own bathroom. In addition, there was a large living room, dining room, which seated 10 easily, library and kitchen. We spent our...

A fantastic spot to stay, Donald & Rachel have done a wonderful job transforming the place into such a serene place to stay. They provided some food for us to start with & there are are a few local supermarket options within 10 mins to grab the supplies you need depending on the length of stay. The cottages are fully...

We stayed in Laune Cottage, which was wonderful. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you may need for cooking, and included some breakfast basics in the fridge, like milk, eggs, butter and jam, and some pantry items like bread, cereal and a wide variety of spices. The beds were comfortable and plenty warm in the chilly September nights. We...

My family had a wonderful time in the 4 Bedroom, 4 Bath Cottage. The living room was beautiful and the Kitchen/dining area was very nice. If you want to get away from it all this is the place to go. We saw cows outside our kitchen door. 3 Chocolate Labs greeted us every morning. We had a fire in the...

Just got back from a 8 night stay at the Beaufort House with 8 other couples where we rented the main house and 1 of the cottages. All of us were thrilled with our choice in accommodations. The house is old, but well appointed and extremely comfortable with each bedroom containing an en suite. We found ourselves cooking group meals...
