this b&b is part of a family home, and i really enjoyed my stay. Peggy and her husband provide a warm but understated welcome, and are on hand to provide whatever help or advice you need, but are not "in your face". we used the b&b as a base to climb carrantouhil (ireland's highest mountain), and when we arrived back...

We really enjoyed our stay here, Peggy was amazing really nice and very helpful! The breakfast was great and the room was big and really nice and secluded and quiet! We even got a lift to the local bar and she washed my boyfriends shirt in time for the wedding. Great value and I would definitely stay here again. I...

Peggy Coffey our hostess was so kind to us. She offered to do our laundry which was so welcome on the last week of a three week trip. I had injured myself on the first day of our trip so her ground floor rooms were very welcome. My husband loved having WiFi available. The location was great for a wonderful...

Perhaps because it is a family room it doesn't get used all that often, aired out etc. The sheets had old stains on them aswell. On top of that, we booked the room on their...

We spent 3 nights here in mid-May and found this to be an excellent location for hiking and climbing in this beautiful area. The draw was Carrantuohil, the Irish high point. We climbed from the west side, parking for which is about 20 minutes from this B&B at Hydro Road. The lodging was very clean and all furnishings in excellent...

Holly Grove is a great place away from the tourism bustle of Killarney. Our room was very generous in size and we enjoyed the peace and quiet afforded by the location. Kate Kearney's Cottage is close by and a great location for dinner and music.
