If you plan to stay here make sure of two things. First, stay in the main house. We stayed in an independent entrance room that is attached to main house and it is nothing like the main house. It is extremely small and loud because the room is only a few feet from the street. Also all of the beautiful...

We went to Westbrook to visit family in Guilford. Was overwhelmed by such lovely setting. It was clean, bathroom spacious for my husband who has some physical difficulties. We stayed in Room 4. The owners are gracious and so accommodating. Breakfast was a treat since you could chose from 3 different entrees. One of the perks was such lovely guests...

I stayed here last weekend while visiting my son at his nearby school. Overall, the Inn is lovely, with a homey ambiance and very nice common areas to sit and read or socialize. The chocolate chip cookies and other refreshments are a nice touch. My room was very nice as well, with a comfortable bed and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast...

We wanted to explore Westbrook and Old Saybrook for a possible weekend "get out of the city place". The Westbrook Inn was wonderful and better than I expected. It's a great property with plenty of places to sit outside or indoors. It was clean and well maintained. Everyone we met was friendly, helpful and it's a convenient location. It was...

We made a spur of the moment decision to get away and found this inn on the internet. Despite being on a busy road it was quiet, the decor is victorian, the grounds are beautiful, the hosts were welcoming and friendly. It is walking distance from the beach and they also provided a parking pass if we wanted to drive....

We spent 2 nights in the cottage which is beautifully decorated and has its own access, so you do not feel you are staying in someone's house, like many B&B's. We enjoyed the fresh breakfast on the inn patio. Beach access is a benefit in this location because there is very limited parking and access. The Inn has a good...

My wife and I spent three nights at the Westbrook Inn as part of a fall foliage getaway in mid Oct. Overall the Inn exceeded our expectations, with the owners Chris and Glenn being both charming and gracious hosts. The attention to detail of the Inn's Victorian decoration is truly amazing, with all the common areas being very relaxing and...

We booked a "last minute" getaway a week prior to our stay at Westbrook Inn and were accommodated immediately, with personal attention and a lovely welcome. The Inn is charming, romantic and is located in an ideal location, with downtown Westbrook and a local beach within walking distance. What really struck us was the attention to detail provided by our...

Just completed my second visit to the Westbrook Inn. Another wonderful experience!! The owners are wonderful people and they go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable visit. I enjoyed last year's stay so much I extended my visit for an additional day this year. I checked in -- and walked down the street to the...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Westbrook Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is Victorian. There are different rooms, some have balconies, some looked smaller, some had a kitchenette. We stayed in room 6; the room was great. The bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was the traffic noise outside. The inn is on a very busy street...

“Rooms at the front of the Inn facing Boston Post Road ( #'s 3 & 6 ) are larger and brighter but are more subject to noise due to the traffic and Dunkin Donuts across the street. This was not an issue for us, just a heads up if you sleep with the windows open.”
