It is one of the cheapest resort in Pulau Besar, MYR330 for 2 nites, plus MYR80 for extra bed via Agoda. No free wifi, no tv, pool had not fill up, no electric supply from 3-5 pm. Limited menu. Only 1 burger shop nearby. Luggage were taken care of from boat to lobby.

I’m regret that I didn’t read all these reviews before booking this resort. There are total 8 of us staying in this resort with each of us paying RM580 for the 3D2N package. Considering RM200++ for each night after deducting the boat transfer fee and meal fees, the rooms doesn’t worth the price at all! The rooms are under maintenance, the floor is dirty ( luckily I brought slippers), no TV, poor WiFi, the air conditioner plate is missing, no aircond remote control and the toilet is super old (like in 80s), the worst is the toilet cannot be flushed! We called the staffs there to repair and luckily they are kind enough and repaired it immediately. Electricity cut off twice or thrice a day without advanced notice (and sometimes it’s during the hot afternoon). On the first day when I shower, the water even ran off and at the meantime my eyes are covered with shampoo bubbles (I couldn’t believe that I’m experiencing this in real life), luckily the tape water at the bottom did not run off and it saved my life. All my friends staying in other chalets also experienced the same thing. The food is OK for me although it did not have many varieties. The island itself is stunning and it’s a good place to enjoy your weekend given if you didn’t stay in Dcoconut resort. Believe me, staying in Arsenia Resort will make your holiday happier and wonderful. Overall, the place is very dirty, old, having bad maintenance and does not worth the price AT ALL!! The 2 stars given here is because of the beautiful island not the resort.

This was my second time in Pulau Besar and of course i wanted to try different resort. Since the choices are limited, I've picked the second largest establishment there. I lowered down my expectation from my previous visit but to my surprise, the service was as good as what the other more luxurious resort (from my previous stay, checked my 1st review of this Island). We (me and my cousin) were greeted by young boys from the resort and they helped to us to bring our luggage to the resort. Checking in was a breeze. Besides us, there were only 1 group of youngsters (and yes...they were very loud). We booked a superior room (normal room with air-condition) and since no one was around, we've been upgraded to a Chalet near the beach! Realizing that we are about to be placed next to the noisy youngsters (yerppp they screamed like banshees) we've made a special request to be put awaaaaaaayyyyyy from them and things got better. We were given the best, next to the beach chalet! Who cares that there was no TV in the Chalet. We've got the best view! The room was cleaned and the a/c works fine. Food choices are a bit limited but satisfying enough.
