I love this place. The food was super nice ! Especially the sambal balacan. BBQ dinner was nice too. It will be perfect if less flies in the restaurant. Thanks to the owner for the free glass of wine. Quite beach where we can spend few hours just lying there and do nothing. Never been so relax on an island...

Beautiful island with pristine beaches (and no sandflies when I stayed there!). The resort is well designed with nice kampung style and a lovely pool. Service was good (both in Mersing and on the island). Main drawback was the quality of the food that improved over time but was quite bad the day we arrived. Wifi was not working well,...

Given there were only 3 resorts in Pulau Besar, I believe this resort was the only on that offered free wifi in common areas. However, don't expect the wifi too be consistent as if definitely wasn't! The rooms were basic huts with air condition and our double room came with 2 beds which was good. Buffet meals were decent and...

The food there was delicious and the restaurant is one of the best for beach resorts. While the beach was nice, there was little fishes or corals near the resort sea. My children loved the ball swing near the resort. The bed was very nice and confortable. The bad thing was that there was some sandflies.

It was our last choice since Tioman resorts are all fully booked during Singapore National Day period. Never been to Rawa Island and was very skeptical about the place and fearsome of rural facility and lonely island. It has surprised us with many aspects. The beach is very beautiful with fine sand. I could walk on it bare footed without...

Stayed 3 nights in July 2015 here after Singapore and before Borneo. Having been to the Perhentian's, Redang and Tioman I had a fair idea that the beach would be lovely, cool underfoot, white, soft sand and the waters blue under a blazing sun. Plus a few palms and other trees lining the sand for shade. And this is exactly...

I went there 2 weeks ago and beside my sandflies/mosquitoes bites that are still healing, I still keep great memories of that little corner of paradise. (Luckily, my children and husband didn't get bitten much) First of all, the manager is very friendly and welcoming and his staff is just the same. They are a great team and I especially...

The beach is beautiful, white sand, clear beach, you can see some fish near the shore. Backdrop is the mountain, beautiful in the morning as you see some mist. Walk the beach further to the right where theres the jungle, and you will hear bird noises. Its so wonderful being close to nature, and you see a wide expanse of...
