An amazing stay! The room was awesome and the cleanest I have seen! The bar was the best experience. Elmer, Amy, and Dave P. made my night. Elmer and Amy were on it as my bartenders. The pizza Dave made was better than a restaurant. Will be back!!!!

Very nice hotel. Every member of the staff was courteous and professional. The check-in was seamless and anytime we entered or exited the hotel we were greeted by members of the staff. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. This was the second time we stayed at this location and it will not be our last. Keep up the great service levels!

I stayed at this property for several days while attending a Conference in Dover, Delaware. The property is located just off a main thoroughfare and there is easy access. It is located very close to two Malls, lots of restaurants and other places of interest to a traveler. In fact, two of the restaurants are right in front of the hotel including a gas station! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and very professional. The staff is one of the best that I have experienced and I am a frequent traveler.
The rooms are comfortable and clean. If you need any type of service, the staff is very quick in taking care of your needs.
The breakfast is amazing! The cost is at $14 for full cooked to order breakfast that includes the Continental bar as well. While there I tried two other breakfast locations and I can assure you that the breakfast at the hotel was the BEST! My server, Jayne Jones, was AWESOME!! She continual asked those in my party if she could get us anything, was friendly and an awesome server. She even went as far as helping us to get additional items if needed and not once was she ever unpleasant. Each day for four days, she was there and ready to help my party with anything needed. We tipped her generously but she is an excellent example of a face for a hotel!
I encourage you to stay here and see the experience for yourself. The cost is good and the location is excellent.

The hotel lobby, bar, and pool were very nice. The check-in process was easy, and we got to our room quickly. It was great being able to bring our two dogs as we were traveling to our destination the next day. We paid $50 for a pet fee which seems reasonable to me. However, I was disappointed in the room. It needs love. I understand you may have a dog room, but I paid extra so the money should be used to keep that room up to a better standard. We paid for breakfast when reserving the room. It was a buffet, and the food was very good. My daughter loved all the choices.

thank you for your comments. We appreciate all feedback as we continually train to improve our service and accommodations. Our hotel does not have specific pet rooms. We block guests appropriately by their requests and room type and service all rooms the same, although we do provide an additional level of cleaning after a pet departs. Our rooms were renovated in 2017, and we are preparing to undergo a 3.5 million dollar renovation that will completely refresh the entire hotel for carpet, to paint, to vinyl and lighting. This will take place between November 2025 and March 2025. At the end of each month, we also donate $5 per pet fee back to a local animal charity. We encourage you to again stay with us after our renovations are complete.

We had the displeasure of staying at this hotel and living through 2 nights of noise from the adjoining Wendy's. What rubbed insult into our stay was we booked the hotel far in advance at a very steep price but we are (or were) loyal Hilton customers and this was the best available but the rooms were almost sold out when we booked. One night the room rate was in excess of $400 per night for a silly standard room. When we arrived they gladly checked us in at this rate but we noticed the hotel was practically empty. We checked the nightly rate for our room and it was about $150 per night. I quizzed the front desk and spoke to the General Manager. He said "you checked in at that rate, I can do nothing for you after you check in". I asked about the disparity, he said we had a convention booked at that time, they cancelled so the rates came down. As General Manager I would hope he would be more caring for his customers and so I recommend finding another hotel with a GM that has a backbone and can see beyond the financials. I will never stay here again and recommend no one else stay here, perhaps he will learn to appreciate a customer and at least be honest with them before checking them in and then hiding behind the rules.

Thank you for sharing your experience with others. Our records show you were not in a standard room, but a Jr. Suite at a rate of $308 the second night. Like all hotels, we may lower our rate if we have lost reservations. This is an industry practice, and I am unaware of any hotel that would change previously reserved rooms. We continually monitor our rates compared to similar hotels in the market. Some may be a little higher, some a little lower, but our amenities, cleanliness and service set us apart from others in the area. That weekend, we did lower rate a bit, but is was in the upper $200's, and a premium for the Jr. Suite. We have not had a Fri/Sat rate of $150 a very long time. As you can see by the many 5 star reviews for our hotel. our Team, and me personally, care deeply about the caliber of service we provide. I value and appreciate your opinion and will share your comments with our entire Team as we continually look for ways to improve.

An overall great stay. Well trained, personable and professional staff is dedicated to keeping their guests happy. Well appointed room was spotless, ditto common areas. Lovely restaurant waitstaff breakfast and dinner. Free parking, pool(hot tub not working this trip)full service casual restaurant and bar, kiosk for sundries, business center, fitness room. Located close to shopping, Dover AFB 20 min, beaches 20 min, Bombay Hook NWR 15 minutes, Historic Lewes, Cape May Ferry and amazing Cape Henlopen State Park (great beach,birding and free bikes) about an hour. Property is ADA compliant, somewhat eco friendly, pet friendly. Definitely would return. Thanks to Tiffany, Jasmine and Zach for making a good stay a great one.

This is the second time we have stayed here, but the first time in eight years. Just like the last time, the staff were great! We also wanted to compliment Kate at the desk overnight. She is so positive and knows customer service well.
Unfortunately, a 5-star rating is not warranted this time. There were some minor issues to the room and service. While we did not say anything during our stay, hopefully the hotel can fix it for the next time. There were cobwebs in the room, which we eventually saw a small spider on the morning of our checkout in the bathroom. The room is also starting to dated. It looks a minor renovation may have been done to part of the bathroom at some point in the past.
As Diamond Members of Hilton, we were offered a $20/day credit to include the small market they have. We did take advantage of the market pantry. We did not use the restaurant because the staff member working one evening appeared to have a cough and was touching plates and utensils. So we were not comfortable to have any meal there reference that.
Hopefully in the future we will return if in the area because the employees are very nice. However, as tough as this might be in maintaining the property, the attention to detail needs a little improvement.

I appreciate you taking the time to let us know any issues you encountered. I will be sure to reinforce with Housekeeping the importance of checking corners in rooms. I apologize for that misstep. Our hotel rooms and baths were renovated in 2016/2017. The bathrooms have new vanities, all faucets, art, and wall vinyl. Guest rooms have new carpet, artwork, mattresses, and soft seating. We are looking to do another remodel in 2024 to refresh everything once again. We also have very strict policies on any team member feeling ill. I will follow up with the Bartender to ensure he is always properly washing his hands, which he does quite often. Several of us have been experiencing fall allergies, but we all must remain diligent in maintaining hygiene and overall cleanliness. Thank you for the opportunity to continually improve.

I love Hilton brand hotels, especially Garden Inn. This property is very family friendly and the hotel atmosphere is relaxing and we felt the hotel was safe. The lobby area is nicely decorated, very clean and the family style dinning, is also comfortable for single travelers. Our room was very nice and the AC cooled the room perfectly, as it was needed that day. Our only issue was the coffee maker was broke and that was a bummer for my husband. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Hilton Honors points stay. Clean and update property. Staff are well trained and personable both at the desk and breakfast. Breakfast was good with standard offerings and a selection of fresh fruit. We stay here when visiting Bally's casino. Property is located back off the main roadway with no hwy noise.

What more can I say but hair in one bed and grass clippings in the other, a musky odor, and hair in both the toilet and shower. Thankfully there was a bottle of hand sanitizer in the bathroom I used wipe down the bed and refused to use the sheets. I thought at least I get a free continental breakfast. No that's another $9.

Yes, depending on the rom type you booked. Due to fire codes, we can not accommodate an extra bed in our standard 2-queen bed rooms or king whirlpool rooms. Our standard King rooms already have a sofa sleeper but we can add an additional rollaway. We can also add one in our suites if needed. The cost is $10/night.
If you are a Hilton Honors member, you should be given tickets for each mornings stay. Only then will your breakfast be free. As the reviewer from Delaware said, the breakfast is "cooked to order" not hot lamp preserved and it is fairly priced. However, there is a Bob Evans within walking distance.
There are more places to choose from in the Dover area.
