This is our 4th year in a row camping at Killens Pond! The weather was beautiful. 45 minute ride to Cape Henlopen! We even spent some time on the beach, in October!! Met lots of great people at the campground. The campground has lots of family activities; hayrides, scarecrow making, pumpkin carrving, etc. The kids went trick-or-treating to the campsites!... We stayed during an extremely hot week in August. The campground was clean and well maintained. The bathhouse was a short walk (We were in the primitive sites), but was well looked after. The evening nature hike was beautiful. We rented a canoe, went to the water park (you get free passes as part of the campground rental), played disc... More

My wife and I and our two beagles stayed for two nights in site B3. The campsites are very close together. The people behind us were staying with people in front of us. They were constantly walking through our site to get to their friend's site. They laughed about how they made the dogs bark. We turned in early on... More

Great cabins! Clean, not a far distance from parking lot so easy unload. Twin bunk bed and double bed, a/c, huge bathroom with step in shower and we loved the screened in porch! The only comment I will make about the cabins that we were in is that you have to double check and see what type of firepit you... More

Memorial Day weekend Loop G site 8, "primitive" walk in tent site Pros: The scenery is lovely, the stars were bright and we saw an owl, toads, and a three foot king snake slithering around. People were friendly and respectful of the quiet hours. Very family friendly atmosphere with loads of children running around and biking without making lots of... More

My family and I camped here for one night, the grounds were clean and the tent site was spacious. The bathhouse was clean however when you take a shower you have to keep pushing the button for the water to stay on. Usually the water is cold but the water (at least the stall I was using) was warm, it... More

The campground itself is great! Fishing, hiking, playground, plus the nature center and hay rides kept my family busy. My biggest complaint is the bathhouse. We camped for four days at Easter. We have a fifth wheel and the site we were in was nice d-7. Since there is only water and electric hookups we rely on the bathhouse for... More

Went here for a last minute weekend get a way with friends. Campground was nice, the grounds were clean. The only problem is the bathrooms were not the friendliest. No toilet paper, the shower curtain was ripped and the water really wouldn't warm up. Probably gonna give it another chance. Thinking it was possibly related to the time of year... More

We came here camping last summer and it was an enjoyable experience. We camped in the primitive loop (loop G site 6). Overall this campground is nice. It's small and didn't seem too crowded to us. Loop G only has 2 porta potties close, but they were clean so it wasn't an issue. The loop is deemed a "walk-in" site,... More
