We stayed while visiting friends in the area. This older hotel has been redone in a very pleasing way, from the Zebra themed rug in the lounge and carved elephant chairs in the lobby, to the sleek mixture of old and new in the rooms. Our room was not big, but because of the thought put into the decor, it...

My husband and I spent a few days here in early autumn. The hotel is quite comfortable, with an interesting mix of old and ecletic and modern decor. The staff are quite helpful. Even though there is no breakfast, we were given a voucher for one of the local spots. It's a great hotel in a very interesting and walkable...

We spent 3 nights here and had a blast! The staff were very welcoming and courteous and we were allocated an executive double, which was small, but modern and tasteful with a really nice bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we had a window looking out onto one of Lewes pretty leafy streets. The only small gripe I had...

My oldest friend and I stayed at the Rodney for a quick reunion getaway Sept. 23-24. I had stayed here years ago when the Rodney was the old Zwaanendael Inn, which was nothing fancy but nice in a faded-1920s kind of way. The new incarnation, as the Rodney, has preserved the cozy atmosphere of the Zwaanendael, but with new twists...

Hotel Rodney is a nice restoration on downtown 2nd Street on Lewes. Very comfortable room, we had an upstairs corner. AC worked well, and we had a large separate shower with three mounted shower heads. Quality bed. Flat screen TV. Small refrig & room safe. Pub under construction on ground floor. Nicely equipped exercise room. Breakfast discount coupons for a...

Hotel and town is really quaint and elegant. Great value. Rooms are small but nice. They were able to work with us because they had a room available for one night, even though they are normally only available for two nights. Had a great time with my wife despite the bad weather.

Hotel Rodney is right in the downtown heart of Lewes. While the rooms are small, the amenities, like the bed and shower were quite good. Not a fancy-pants place but a respectable, enjoyable place to stay. Since it's in an old building, the elevator is awkward and slow, so if stairs are an issue that might be a problem.

We loved staying at the Hotel Rodney last year for our summer trip to the shore, and we came back again this year. The rooms are well appointed, clean, with lots of natural light. The staff is friendly and attentive. The town is sweet. The beach at Lewes is nice, and you can be a short drive from the boardwalk...

Best bathroom we have ever had including 5 star luxury hotels. Staff is wonderful, suite was large and comfortable. Only drawback was no Internet in room and slow in lobby. For a smaller hotel in town it was quiet and relaxing. Would come back next beach vacation.

Located in downtown lewes, you can walk to everything. Theres a great ice cream spot next door and a very cool historic cemetery. Rooms very clean, cool, comfortable. Loved the feel of the historic inn. Great place to stay, loved it! It was a nice break from the "beachy" feel of the rest of lewes
