We stayed here while visiting a friend who lives nearby. I have to say, the staff was exceptional--very personable and helpful. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the toiletries were awesome, and the continental breakfast was delicious and filling. I would recommend this hotel 150%!

The room was extra extra large, clean and spacious. The Friendly staff were very helpful. Big lobby for our softball team to sit down and eat their lunch and dinners. Parking lot was clean and felt secure. Guest laundry could use an update but it did the job for $2 a load.

The stay was wonderful, we came the week of a dance competitions was in town so the hotel was packed. What stood out the most my entire stay was the young lady that was running breakfast. She kept everything clean, food stocked, if we needed something she would bring it right out. She was truly exceptional . I was really impressed. We will definitely be back!

I Was Welcomed By The Most Friendly and Conducive Person Kim. She Would Check Up On Me To See If I Needed Anything To Make My Stay Pleasant. My Thermostat Was Improperly Working So Additional Blankets Were Brought To Our Room After A Tech Came To Investigate. The Entire Staff Was Accommodating, Steve, Jackson, and Diamond Was Holding It Down For The Continental Breakfast. It's A Must Visit Again When In That Area. Kudos To A Wonderful Staff. Check-in was easy. Everything else was beyond disappointing. Furniture had stains, shower had mildew, we bought new sheets to cover the bed, and children ran screaming up & down the hall until almost 11pm. Was asked shortly after arriving if everything in the room was acceptable. Shared our cleanliness concerns and instead of a different room was offered extra Hilton points. Also found if we booked the room the day we arrived, it would have cost half the non-refundable rate we’d paid. Do not recommend.

The rooms were very roomy and cozy stay it was nice not to have everyone on top of each other. It was nice to come in a clean hotel with very nice and welcoming staff memebers, Dyamond the morning breakfast was absolutely amazing and very welcoming always had a smile worked hard to make sure that all of breakfast was full at all times

Checked into my room, there was blood on the side of the box spring. Was given another room, there was sticky stuff all over the desk, hair in the tub and food from a previous guest in the refrigerator. Housekeeping gave us a bath towel a little larger than a hand towel.

This is the second time in 5 months that I’ve stayed here. Both times including right now (this morning) i requested my room to be serviced in the morning before leaving for work and both times it was not serviced. When I inquired about this this evening, January 19th, 2023, I was informed that they only service rooms every five days and would service it tomorrow. I check out tomorrow morning! SMH…I was not told this upon check in and or is not posted anywhere in the hotel or on the site. I should be able to request my room be serviced on any Hilton property (I did the work to request) and not haves to come back to a room not serviced at all!! Very frustrating!! As a Diamond member, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Newark/Christiana to stay because of the poor service and experience that I have received.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my son’s hockey team for a local tournament. I will say upon arrival my room was ready and clean. Apparently that wasn’t the case for most of the team but I’ll only review for my room. We had a toilet issue and someone came within half an hour to fix it which was greatly appreciated as well.
However..... the staff were so incredibly rude to us on so many occasions over the long Presidents’ Day weekend that I urge you not to stay here. They threatened our sons. Told them they were going to have us all kicked out if they didn’t stop talking. They were rude to us for talking in the lobby. Im sorry but if you agree to host a hockey tournament and receive the financial benefits that brings you, you might have a little elevated noise. Nothing crazy but talking in the lobby should be ok. It’s a public gathering area which I believe is why there’s so much seating there.
So, yes, my room was clean. Others in our group did not experience clean rooms but they can review for themselves. The breakfast was good. The lady and her little girl working it were lovely. The maintenance man that fixed my toilet was responsive and polite. The front desk staff and hotel manager Bob..... not a happy or friendly group of people. Made it uncomfortable to walk through the lobby by day 2. Stay elsewhere

At times, we had many children unattended causing disruption to the other guests and the noise level quickly became excessive. We enforce hotel policies to ensure every guest has the best experience possible and for the safety of all guests. I stayed here for one night mid-September (2022) and from the get-go I found the staff incredibly friendly and very happy to help. Got on elevator with a cleaning staff person and she was cheerful and so happy to show me the way to my room! I really loved the setup for the coffee. So many places you must stand and wait while someone prepares their coffee, hogging the area with the cream/sugar/etc. Not here! All the add-ins were spread out so several people could serve themselves easily. Room very comfortable. Sometimes it's the little things but they all add up!
