This hotel had its positives and negatives.
The positives include the location. It is just off I-95, making it easy to to reach and easy to rejoin the highway after our stay. Coffee in the lobby is free. When I wanted ice and came down to the lobby, the bartender not only filled my ice bucket, but they also found a plastic liner to insert. I found the staff welcoming and friendly. Our room was pretty large and included a king size bed and a convertible sofa. The room had a counter with a refrigerator, bar sink and microwave. The shower is a walk in with great floor to ceiling glass panels.
There were negatives. The room was not quiet. We could tell when the guest in the next room stopped listening to music (about 1:30 AM) and when they took a shower.
There were tears in the leather fabric on the rolling desk chair. The shower did not have a safety grab bar. This is an issue when you stand on one foot to clean the other foot. The shower had a wall mounted three pump system for shampoo, conditioner and bath soap. The bath soap dispenser appeared one third full, but the pump did not work. The vinyl wall covering fabric in the main room was peeling away at the seams where the wall covering panels join together.
We wrote down bullet points about everything that needed attention (except the noise) and turned it in to the front desk staff member when we departed.
Hopefully the hotel management read our note and gives our room the care and attention that it needs.
Several guests came to lobby after 6am for coffee, but nothing there. Several staff members stood-by watching guests prepare coffee cups, but said nothing about the absence of coffee. The food and beverage operations are a racket!
I only have a couple of small suggestions. I would have liked to see visible cleaning regularly staff wiping down the elevator buttons and tending to other highly-traficked common areas. Also, I didn't understand the shower door design. There is no handle on the inside of the glass door and it is quite high, so when I got in the shower, I had no way to close it completely.
When me and my family arrived at check in time at 3pm I was told by the young lady at the front desk that the room wasn’t ready and to return in 30 mins.
At 5:45pm the room still wasn’t ready When I ask for the manager another receptionist took it upon herself to call the manager. During there conversation the receptionist told the manager that I had just arrived instead of saying that I was there at 3pm making it look as if I was late for my reservation. When she got off the phone I questioned her saying to her “why would you do that and she responded well I didn’t see you before knowing that I was onsite on time.😡. I then stated I didn’t this it was fair and stated that I shouldn’t have to pay for the lost three hours. I was told that was only willing to reimburse me $20 for my inconvenience with me waiting in my car with family for 3 hour which was unacceptable. They then offered free breakfast for only myself which was a joke because I had other people in my party. I ask the front desk for corporate # and was told that then didn’t know it and that I had to google it(WHAT!!!).
At 5:55 a room was available when we got settled in the room that cable was down and stayed down. The room phone was unplugged, towels in the bathroom was old and had strings coming out the sides, the other towel was all white but mismatched, the shower door didn’t fully close because there wasn’t a handle on the inside of the shower so the floor was drenched.
This hotel has major issues that need to be addressed and I will not be booking from any four points ever again that place is a disgrace
For breakfast, Daysi met me in the morning make sure she served coffee to me as soon as i sat down, same for breakfast.
I stayed at this hotel from Monday May 5 to maybe 8 for business.
